• İnönü Koyu - We’ll embark on our voyage through the tranquil waters towards Kekova. Refreshments will be served as we enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour cruise to our first destination, Inonu Bay, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim.
• Kekova Island - As we approach Kekova, our second stop is the aptly named ‘Aquarium Bay’. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and swim among the vibrant marine life while we prepare a delicious lunch of barbecued chicken and a variety of Turkish salads and appetizers.
• Tersane Koyu - After lunch, we’ll proceed to ‘Tersane’, the site of an ancient shipbuilding yard. Here, you’ll delve deeper into history as we sail over the renowned sunken city, a Lycian city submerged by earthquakes in the 2nd century CE. We’ll capture numerous photos of these submerged stone ruins shimmering in the water before heading towards Kalekoy.

• Castle of Simena - The village of Kalekoy, accessible only by boat or on foot, is built atop and amidst the ruins of the ancient city of Simena. You’ll have an hour of free time here to explore the shops lining the narrow streets, climb to the top of the castle, photograph the Lycian sarcophagi, or simply enjoy some homemade ice cream by the sea.

Embark on a Thrilling Boat Journey to the Submerged City of Kekova, inclusive of a meal.

Experience one of the most thrilling boat rides, taking you to the submerged city of Kekova that went under water following a disastrous earthquake in the 2nd century AD. The land sank leading to the immersion of ancient homes. Our vehicle will carry you to the Ucagiz Village from where you’ll take a boat to the Kekova area, allowing you to view the remnants of this ancient city.

The Sunken city of Simena, a part of ancient Lycian, is commonly known as Kekova-Simena. The city offers an enthralling blend of ancient, medieval and current times, making it not just beauiful but historically intriguing.

The journey begins with a ride to Üçağız village from our Kas center office where you’ll get onboard the boat that will then halt for a swimming break at Aquarium bay.
