Great sea kayaking trip - Excellent trip from start to finish. Well organised, friendly guides, great stops for swimming and beautiful to paddle over the sunken city. Highly recommend

A great day’s activity on the water - We had a fantastic day kayaking around the sunken city. Yasar and the team looked after us well. The trip is well constructed with some fun kayaking, swimming, history and a really lovely lunch. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a day’s activity.

Sea Kayaking, Simena and Sunken City - Tour Guide, Yasar Sarica, is a local who was born in this town, and has great knowledge about the history of his land. He is pleasant, helpful, and makes you feel safe, even when you are not in great shape to row. He is a good story teller, and has great sense of humor.
Kalekoy- Castle Village, Simena, is a rural stop, where you get served simple but very tasty food. Do not miss the local, home made ice cream, especially the black mulberry.
Spare some time to climb the stairs to the Byzantine Castle, Simena. The view at the top of the stairs will be stunning.

Amazing - We went sea kayaking. The guide was very nice, helpfull, a Great instructor and a very good tour guide. Even though I had Been to kekova many times, I learned a lot new. Some of us were beginners, some were «pro», but everyone was very satisfied.

Beautiful Landscapes and impeccable Service - Superb kayaking experience with a millimetered and controlled organization. Beautiful scenery, incredible remains, turquoise water and a guide that provides explanations while ensuring the Good Mood in the group. A meal and time for swimming/visiting is provided in the service. The staff of the agency is really nice and accommodating, I had even forgotten my glasses in a dry bag and they did everything to ship them to me in another city via a dolmus!!
I recommend!

An absolute must do - Harun was an excellent guide. We had a nice small group and a small boat to carry our belongings. We were given a snack and then at the end a very delicious meal. Plenty of time for hiking around or swimming during stops. This is a must do when visiting the area. We would absolutely do this again.

Fun kayaking and lovely lunch, but disappointing staff interaction and extra photo charge. - Picked up from Kalkan by a nice man in a drafty old (but surprisingly powerful) minivan to join the group and two guides in Kaş. The kayaking itself was great fun — a bit windy and wavy at times, so definitely a workout! We did three paddling sessions of about 20 minutes each, with swim stops and a break on an island with a castle. The guide shared some interesting historical facts along the paddle route, and lunch afterwards — locally caught fish — was delicious. However, the staff could have been much more engaging en route and on return (1 hour drive from Kaş). Instead of talking with us or sharing facts about the scenery or culture one was on his phone, the other asleep, and there was not even a goodbye at the end. The driver, who didn’t speak English, actually made the most effort. There was also an extra charge for photos, which really should have been included in the tour price.

Okay - They split the groups into competent and incompetent which was annoying. I may be in my 60s but I have a kayak on a lake at home and have been ocean kayaking and white water kayaking. I went with the incompetent
Mom, dad, kid were the other group on our tour. Mom was not an experienced kayaker but she took the kid in the heavier kayak because the kid (wisely) preferred to go with her. She and the kid were awesome
By the first stop we were 30 minutes behind. We were given a choice, press on to the underwater ruins or swim. I was all in for ruins since it is a unique experience but dad actually Whined, “I want to swim”.
So we swam. And sat about on a beach where some workers were burning trash
We took off and were beginning our Kayak over the ruins when Dad, a bit of a show off on how fast he could go, flipped his kayak. We lost another 30 - 20 minutes while they fished dad out of the drink, drained his Kayak and reinserted him.
The guide told us, despite the delay, we had missed nothing. Clearly untrue since group-competent went much deeper into the sunken runes than we did before we left
Then we went to a rather pretty place with a good icecream stand and waited an hour while no one climbed the hill to the ruin. Group competent went some place else
We kayaked back to the beginning… dad flipping his kayak once again, and had an okay meal and were taken by car back to Kas.

Kayaking at Kekova - Day was well organized with a tour guide in his own kayak who was guiding us along with other staff on a boat that was following us for extra safety in case someone got injured and also to carry backpacks. The tour brought us to a few places where we could stop and swim and / or visit which was nice.
However, there is not much to see from the old submerged city of Kekova if this is the main thing you want to do. Also, there was a bit of a language barrier with the guide who had difficulty in English.

Not for me - Good stuff first- the tour was beautiful, I booked last minute and they were pretty accommodating, the watermelon at the first beach was great.
As a solo traveler though I felt this was not the tour for me. I felt unwelcome, the guide struggled to answer my questions about the sites we were visiting, and made an unkind comment when I tried to clarify something he had shouted to the whole group while we were out scattered on the water. I think the other couples in the group had a better time though!
