Highlights

In this tour we trace the the history of this movement, from its start in Orange County in the 18th century, to the disturbances in the late 1760’s, and finally to the Battle of Alamance in 1771. Following the battle, the executions of Enoch Pugh and five other Regulators as traitors by the British Governor ended the movement, but perhaps not its influence on the American Revolution. And there are other questions to be discussed which have only recently been answered, and some still unanswered to this very day.
