A great start to our Alaskan trip! - We had an amazing time. The weather was mostly sunny and we just had a few sprinkles. Our guides, Luke (yay, Nebraska!) and Jordan were terrific, and provided all kinds of information about the glacier, rocks, flora, fauna, local lore, and more. They provide all the rain gear you need, including tall boots. The glacier was incredible, and you can no longer see it from either the visitor center or the falls, so you either hike 3 hours or canoe. We had a great group and everyone rowed well, so we made great time, and had extra when we landed. Warm drinks on our return topped it off.

Absolute best time - We did the Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour and had the absolute best time! Our guides, Issy and Luke, were amazing—super knowledgeable, fun, and full of interesting facts that made the whole experience even better. We paddled about 5 miles, and they made sure everything went smoothly and kept the energy high the whole way. Couldn’t have asked for better guides—truly the best! Highly recommend this tour.

Tour is nice!!! - What an incredible experience! Getting up close to the glacier was absolutely breathtaking—the views were stunning, and the hike itself was the perfect balance of challenge and reward. It’s one thing to admire a glacier from afar, but standing right next to it is something I’ll never forget. Our guide was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made the whole experience fun, engaging, and stress-free, making sure we had everything we needed along the way. His energy and enthusiasm really elevated the tour and made it so much more than just a hike. I especially liked the second hot drink after the rain :)

Best Adventure Tour in Alaska - I had the BEST time on my Liquid Alaska canoe tour. Issy and Mason were funny, super knowledgeable about the wildlife and Mendenhall Glacier, and kept us laughing with so many punny jokes we almost tipped the canoe (just kidding)! Even on a cloudy day, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous and I’d 10/10 paddle into the wild with them again.

Amazing! - Our tour guides, Issy and Mason, were kind, knowledgeable and ready to show us all a great time. This tour may be expensive, but it’s well worth the price. This is your best option for seeing the glacier up close—so don’t miss out!

A truly unique experience! - Our guides Issy and Mason make this trip extra fun. We got picked by van from the cruise dock area. 20 min ride to the lake. Got fitted with waterproof gear and boots. No need to bring your own. Then off we went in a large canoe. Five passengers and Issy and Mason. Views are spectacular! But expect to row and row for a long time. I am not sure I am going to be able to use my arms tomorrow. But would not do this any other way. Saw lots of helicopters come by take their passengers on top of the glacier and be gone in minutes. We got to spend about an hour walking around the glacier. But not on the glacier as that was across from us separated by the lake. Really worth it.

Izzy and Rod are the best - We loved this tour. Learned so much and loved being part of the action with rowing the canoe. We saw a seal, porcupine, lots of sea birds including Bagel and little Bite trying to fly. Great business and team and I would 10/10 recommend!

Choose this over the cruise ship excursion. You won’t be sorry. - Absolutely the best experience! Skip buying tours through your cruise line and go straight here. Better price and a much better experience. Our guides were Jonathon & Jordan. We also had Luke there to help us row since our group was small. It was fantastic! They were unbelievably knowledgeable about the area and helped this rock hound find some great finds. We were able to get really close to the glacier, something the ship tours don’t do. I can’t recommend them enough.
