Great team, superb vessel, neat experience overall! - The staff were fantastic! Captain Greg provided a smooth, safe, and efficient trip, Kacie was a wonderful, entertaining, and informative naturalist, and Monica was a capable deckhand. We didn't book in advance, but they got our group of 8 right in when we got off the cruise ship. Regulations limit you to 100 yards of the whales to respect their space (and they're more often 2-300 yards off) so don't expect to see them right next to the ship. That said, they can't stop the whales from coming closer or surfacing nearer. We unfortunately had more like the 2-300 yard variety but it was fun nonetheless and we can't fault the crew. WAY better vessel than any of the others we saw at the docks. The upper deck was a special treat (didn't see any others with that) and it even had a bathroom. Crew provided snacks too!

10/10 would recommend! - A truly remarkable experience. Nate, Morgan and Larry were fun, welcoming and so knowledgeable. We had the experience of a lifetime getting to see the whales bubble netting. We went as a family — ages 2 & 7 and the excursion was appropriate for all ages. You ride inside the boat to the location and then go to the top of the boat to view. It was very secure and safe.

A Must Do - best money spent in Alaska! - Wow wow wow wow! The orcas and whales were magnificent! We got close enough to see 4 humpbacks and a family of orcas. We were close enough to hear the whoosh of the air from their blow holes. Thanks to James, Steph and Ash who did an amazing job getting us close and so extremely knowledgeable. An intimate experience we did on a whim walking the dock! They aren’t affiliated with a cruise line and is a small business - we only had 45 people on our boat and everyone got a great experience. Prices were great so if you are in Juneau go find them and ask for James Steph and Ash! Steph’s mom - if you are reading this - she is still alive lol

Good Tour, Even In The Rain - The day was rainy and cool. Luckily, the boat was very nice with inside seating and heat! We saw many whales. Loved watching the babies jump and play. Nice tour. We even learned a few things about whales.
