Samurai Experience - It was really fun, at first they will have a lecture about samurai. I love the archery experience too, and the last part is learning the basic steps in using a samurai where you will experience a samurai duel, which is the best part of the activity. I love the experience! ❤️❤️ I highly recommend. ☺️

Samurai experience done right <3 - Oh it was amazing! The only way to define it. We were taught proper sword fighting and archery as done by samurai and it was so fun! Everything happened in English so we could be very proactive and the instructors were so kind! They even gave us a brief presentation about it before beginning which only added to the experience ✨

First Samurai experience - It was such a challenging and enjoyable experience. I liked Japanese archery and katana as well. Learned more about Japanese culture and traditions. The staff was nice and friendly. Master Joe was really helpful and I really got an unforgettable experience! I felt this experience is a type of exercise as well you ll move your body and feel healthier, you will come out a stronger person with samurai spirit!

So Incredible! - OMG I LOVED IT! I am a solo female traveler and this was honestly the most fun I had in Japan! 😆 I felt so comfortable and excited the whole time. The staff was so friendly, funny, and welcoming! I will definitely do this again next time I come to Japan. I sent my family photos and videos and they were so jealous. They get you in the right attire, give you a history on Japanese ninja/samurai culture, and then teach you how to do archery and sword fight. I cannot express enough how amazing this experience was. Definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity you cannot miss. Book it ASAP! (P.S. Lisa and Joe are great!)

The samurai experience was 10/10 - 10/10 Experience! Out of activities we booked on our trip this would have to be our favourite one :) The staff were so kind, knowledgeable and really welcoming. They themselves made this experience really amazing for us and put a lot of effort and thought into everything. They even took videos for us throughout. Bub activity centre in general is definitely one of the best places to book activities in Tokyo. And I highly recommend the samurai experience, you get hands on experience with a samurai long range distance bow, and katana. You also get to compete with your groups in target practise and in a katana battle. As well as learn about the history of the samurai :)

A perfect mix of history and good vibes! - I visited on June 8th, 2025, and went for the “Samurai Spirit” plan. As someone fascinated by samurai culture, I was thrilled to be able to ask all the questions I had. Getting hands-on with the bow and soft katana really opened my eyes to the level of focus, discipline, and strength these warriors had. It gave me an even deeper appreciation for their legacy. It was such a memorable experience — I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something immersive, authentic, and different to do in Japan.

Amazing time learning about Japan and Samurai! - This was an incredible experience. Shiina was very knowledgable about the culture and history of Japan. I learned so much about history, and had amazing demo lessons learning how to use the katana and yumi. I can't recommend this more for anybody interested in the Samurai eras of Japan!

Samurai Experience - Super Cool!!! Definitely the samurai experience was very interesting and fun. I got to know about history by enjoying practicing the Yumi-ya and Katana with a really great group fight!!! They have so many different experiences and I’d love to join them all!

A fun & engaging challenge! - It was a lot of fun learning how to use a traditional Japanese bow, even if turned out to be way harder than I imagined! The staff made the experience very engaging and easy to navigate! I’m sure to come back for a rematch, and this time I won’t go easy ;)
