Take a seat, enjoy some tea or juice (a variety of soft drinks is available), and learn about the cultural significance and history of Japanese knives and swords from a friendly Japanese master.

Select the type of blade you wish to sharpen this time (up to 5 types of knives are available, with some requiring a small additional charge) and choose the size of the knife.

Sharpen the blade and become a master of this meditative process, which requires concentration and is excellent for stress relief. Several English-speaking team members are always present to engage in intimate conversations and guide your movements. You’ll have the chance to engage in friendly discussions with locals while honing your knife skills and receiving personalized advice.

Engrave sakura trees or your name in Japanese characters on the handle and attach it using a traditional hammer to complete your work of art.
