Knife making - Lisa and Nao we so nice, friendly, and helpful. It was a great experience. The knives turned out good. I would recommend to anyone.

10/10 knife forging class - We tried their knife forging class and the experience over-exceeded our expectations! We had a lot of fun making the knife, and the staff was kind. 100% recommend.

Very enjoyable! - Lisa was an amazing host! Knowledgeable, friendly and very talented. It was a small group but she is fluent in English and made it very memorable. You get to personalize the handle by burning in your name or a phrase. I loved the finished product I got to take home. A great experience.

Exciting activity with real life applications - Loved crafting my own knife and learning to take care of it. Now that I know how to do it, I'm excited to prorperly sharpen all my other knifes at home too! Trust me, the difference is really noticable!
The whole experience was wonderful, in no small part thanks to the charming staff at the center <3

Fantastic knife making workshop - Experiencing the steps of putting a knife together was very interesting. Especially learning how to properly sharpen a Knife and maintain the whetstone was very educational.
While sharpening there was some time to just talk all things Japan which was very nice as well 😊.

Cool Experience and convenient activities - Decided to join the knife making experience with our partner and it was great! The teachers helping us were very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. We learned a little bit about Japanese knife artistry and left with a lovely personalized souvenir. Definitely worth the time and we will be trying more experiences here in the future! Very close to Asakusa station and easy to get to.

Really cool knife sharpening and hammering experience on the weekend! - Went to a Japanese knife sharpening and hammering experience with a friend and had such a great time. We learned how to properly sharpen a blade using a whetstone, and the hammering part was super satisfying, a bit tough, but fun. The staff were really friendly and explained everything clearly, even for beginners. It was cool to get a glimpse into traditional Japanese craftsmanship, and doing it together made it even more memorable. Definitely something I’d recommend if you're into hands-on experiences or just want to try something different.

Awesome experience to do with friends - Guided by friendly staff, I learned the steps of shaping and polishing the blade. The process was meticulous but incredibly satisfying, and the instructors were both knowledgeable and patient. By the end, I walked away with a custom knife I had crafted with my own hands—functional, beautiful, and personal. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Japanese culture, craftsmanship, or just looking for a unique and meaningful activity.

One of a kind experience! - One of my favorite experiences in Tokyo! Our two guides were so energetic and enthusiastic, and learning how to use a whetstone was super cool! Getting to leave with a knife you personally sharpened makes for a really unique souvenir. If you’re on the fence, I can’t recommend this enough.
