Japanese traditional culture - I had such a wonderful experience here. There were so many gorgeous kimono options, and choosing one was honestly a lot of fun. Ayaka was incredibly warm and kind. She walked me through the tea ceremony step by step and explained everything so clearly. She even helped me take some photos, which I really appreciated. It ended up being one of the most memorable and meaningful moments of my trip to Japan. Thank you so much.

Warm hospitality - Nikko was very cold, and after seeing Nikko Toshogu Shrine, my body was cold. In such a warm place, I was impressed by the warm hospitality. Otemae, it was cool ✨

A wonderful Nikko experience, even on a rainy day - We visited Nikko for one-night, two-day trip to see Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Originally we had planned to visit Kegon Falls the next day, but it was going to be rain, we looked for an experience we could enjoy even on a rainy day. Wearing a kimono and taking part in a tea ceremony turned out to be the perfect choice. It was a truly relaxing and fulfilling experience. My mom (we went together ^^) was also very happy with this experience. I especially enjoyed talking with Ayaka san about Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Futarasan Shrine, which we had visited the day before. She has full of knowledge not only about tea ceremony, but also about Nikko and its history. There is also parking available, so this experience is very convenient for travelers visiting Nikko by car.

Amazing Tea Ceremony Near Toshogu Shrine - This experience was wonderful. Especially matcha and wagashi were refined and delicious, and the host explained each step of the ceremony very clearly. Ayaka, the host, truly loves Nikko, and I enjoyed hearing her stories about Toshogu Shrine and other local spots during the ceremony. The whole experience was very relaxing.

Authentic Kimono and Tea Ceremony - I’ve always been interested in various aspects of Japanese culture, and during my trip to Japan I wanted to experience both the tea ceremony and kimono dressing. At this place, I was able to enjoy both at the same time. The staff kindly helped me choose a kimono, and I felt completely comfortable even though it was my first time. In the traditional tea room, I was able to watch the beautiful tea-making process, and it was a truly fulfilling experience.

Great memory at Nikko 🎁 - The place is very quiet, with few people feeling warm, the tea room (doesn’t you call it right?) is pretty in Japanese style. It’s also a good experience to see the Japanese tea ceremony, to be able to follow him, and to recommend wearing kimonos when taking pictures. The hospitality here is cozy in Japanese style, and the location is conveniently located between the station and Tohoku Shrine.

An unforgettable tea ceremony and kimono experience - KOIKOROMO in Nikko was the most wonderful tea ceremony and kimono experience I have had. I enjoy cultural experiences and have tried Japanese cultural activities in other places before, but this one truly stood out. The tea room was elegant and authentic, allowing me to experience a genuinely traditional tea ceremony. Not only did Ayaka explain the tea ceremony in detail, but she also used tea utensils inspired by Nikko Toshogu Shrine and shared stories about the local area. This made me feel more deeply connected to Nikko as a place I was visiting, not just a location where I joined an activity. The traditional Japanese sweets served during the ceremony were beautifully crafted, almost like small pieces of art, and were a joy to enjoy alongside the matcha. From beginning to end, I was deeply impressed by the heartfelt hospitality. Because it was a private experience, I could truly enjoy a special moment just for myself. This experience is truly worth visiting.

A Truly Special Experience in Nikko - A truly special experience. I joined this tea ceremony while walking from Toshogu Shrine toward the station. I was able to enjoy authentic matcha along with sweets that looked like works of art. Ayaka was very graceful and incredibly knowledgeable. Her explanations were very easy to understand, and I learned a lot. It was truly a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nikko.
