A very thoughtful and delicious food experience - We had so much fun that the 1-hour experience flew by. Misaki, Koh, Mao and Aua were such lovely hosts, helping to make the experience interactive, educational, fun and most importantly, delicious. Such a unique way of learning a part of the history behind Japanese food culture, while also being given the opportunity to try authentic mochi and new flavors! Really great if you’re a couple of people, but also perfect if you’re in a slightly larger group.

Super fun! - Super fun activity with charming and friendly hosts! We wore traditional Japanese jackets and pounded the rice using traditional implements, rolled balls and tasted all different flavours. Location was walkable from central area. Vegan and allergies catered for. One of our best experiences in Japan, absolutely recommend!

Nice! - Really cool experience - we went in without knowing anything about mochi and came out knowing a lot about it but also knowing how it tastes. I’m quite a fussy eater but surprisingly liked it as it tasted quite like readybrek porridge. They were super enthusiastic and great and friendly. The location was really nice — next to dontonbori and amerika town and near very nice food outlets too.
