One of the highlights of my Miyako trip! - One of the highlights of my trip to Miyakojima! Ken was incredibly responsive, friendly, and patient throughout the entire experience. Since it was my first time trying SUP, he explained everything in detail, started slowly, and gave helpful tips that made me feel comfortable enough to try standing! The area we were in was perfect for beginners and probably advanced riders too! The water was clear and we even spotted a stingray, which made the experience even more memorable. I’ve visited Miyakojima several times, and it can be hard to find high-quality excursions with English speaking guides, so this experience stood out even more. I did the tour solo and felt completely comfortable the entire time. Ken also took amazing photos that I’ll treasure from my trip. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Miyakojima. I’ll definitely be back for another excursion!

Sunrise in Miyoka - I booked the sunrise SUP tour the same day that I arrived in Miyoka. Even though it was a bit of a last minute decision, Ken was very prompt and thorough with his communication.
I have booked SUP mangrove tours on other islands in Okinawa before, but this is the first time I tried SUP completely on the beach waters at Imgya Marine Garden. That day, the weather was particularly windy, so it was a challenge as a novice to paddle the SUP. The waters are much calmer and steady on the mangroves.
In the beginning of the tour, Ken allocated time for practice in the calmer parts of the beach waters. He also carefully gave instructions on how to stop the SUP if we got too close to the rocks. When we reached the more turbulent parts of the beach and he saw that I was struggling to manuever the SUP, for safety measures, he will attach both SUPs so he can lead the direction but I have to assist with paddling from behind. We also wear life jackets so I felt comfortable because a lot of consideration is taken into making sure everyone is safe.
Overall, it was a good and worthy learning experience for me. Ken has a lot of knowledge not only of Miyoka but of the world because he is well-travelled. He is fluent in English and we communicated completely in English.
At the end of the tour, Ken also offered a lot of recommendations on how and where to explore Miyoka on my own. He recommended visiting 17END and personally, I am glad I did. I would not have discovered it during my short stay had Ken not told me about it.
Overall, a positive and memorable experience to catch the sunrise in Miyoka. I stayed only two nights in Miyoka but if I had stayed a bit longer, I would also have booked a snorkeling tour with Ken.

Sunset SUP experience in Miyakojima - I came to Miyako Island on a solo trip. I had never tried SUP before, but after reading other reviews saying that the instructor was very kind and that the tour was suitable for beginners, I decided to join.
I had a great time! If I have a chance to visit Miyako Island again, I would definitely like to join this tour again.

Sun Set Tour with Ken - It was a perfect hilling experience. As I sat down on the blue waves and stared at the red sun, the worries and anxieties that had been burning over the years had gone like a lie. It was an overwhelming silence that even I myself forgot.’ The great guide Ken ’s carefully cared for me to feel the sea comfortably. He taught me how to handle the waves safely, and I was so energetic and pleasant I could get stuck in the water. Above all, thanks to my constant efforts to keep me safe, I slept in the sunset landscape for a while, closing my eyes. Thanks, Ken. If you're visiting Miyako Island, you should try it.

Miyakoshima SUP First Experience - Ken is super sunny and kind, because he's a beginner and was a little nervous at first, but soon got into shape. The coach taught him very carefully and introduced us to the local ethos. If you want to play SUP, make sure you come to Ken.

Great first-time experience! - We had a great time with Ken! I’d never been stand-up paddling but he was very accommodating and knowledgeable enough that I had it down in an instant. The sunset was beautiful as well. Would definitely recommend this activity 🤠

The best way to start a morning in Miyako - Ken さん went above and beyond in every way. From the moment I reached out — even for a last-minute booking — he was incredibly responsive, patiently answering all my questions and arranging everything seamlessly. He handled pick-up and drop-off personally, which made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish.
He chose the perfect spot for the sunrise, and it was absolutely magical. The morning light on the water was something I'll never forget. Ken's warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for his guests made this one of the highlights of my time in Miyako. If you're looking for an unforgettable sunrise SUP experience, look no further — I can't recommend Ken さん highly enough!

An unforgettable experience. - We were beginners and it was the first time we practiced SUP. At first we were a little nervous, but our fears quickly disappeared because Kento was very patient and guided us step by step to learn how to do it, always with a big smile and a lot of security. By the end of the tour, we were doing great. The price is fair. The excursion lasted about an hour and a half, until sunset. We took pictures, the only bad thing was that right at sunset there were clouds, and we didn’t fully appreciate it, we lay on the board for a few minutes and just relaxed. The views are amazing, certainly one of the best moments of our honeymoon.
