Our tea ceremony experience is crafted to be inviting, accessible, and meaningful. While the traditional tea ceremony is often perceived as formal and solemn, we strive to present its beauty in a relaxed and approachable manner. Guests can enjoy the experience seated on chairs, making it easy for everyone—including those unfamiliar with floor seating or with limited mobility—to participate comfortably.
During the session, participants will delve into the history of tea in Japan, discover how Zen philosophy has influenced the essence of the tea ceremony, and witness authentic techniques performed up close by a tea master, allowing for an appreciation of the subtlety and elegance of this art.
In the latter part, participants will enjoy carefully selected traditional sweets from renowned artisans and prepare their own bowl of matcha using premium tea sourced from a family-run farm. The experience concludes with a Q&A session to enhance understanding.
