Visit “YURIYA,” a sake shop known for its specialty sauces. Did you know Kobe is the birthplace of sauce in Japan? Nagata is renowned for KONAMON (flour-based dishes) like Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. They offer a vast selection of sauces for every KONAMON dish you desire!

Select seafood for sushi at “KISSO SHOTEN,” and explore their seasonal specialties!

Head to the venue and dive into sushi making. Freshly-milled local rice is already prepared in a “donabe,” a traditional Japanese clay pot.
You will:

1. Prepare vinegared rice for sushi.
2. Create toppings by chopping vegetables and rolling tamagoyaki (Japanese egg omelet).
3. Place rice on your seaweed.
4. Choose your toppings and roll them together by hand!

After crafting and enjoying sushi, explore the local shrine, Nagata Jinja, with its rich history spanning over 1800 years. Experience “the good old days” of Japan without the tourist crowds ;)
