Good experience, In the shoes of an kabuki actress - The staff were very kind and welcoming. The premises are very old, and we were given an explanation and a tour of the stage and backstage area. I was able to try on a beautiful kimono from their extensive collection and strike a few poses on stage. I had already heard of Kabuki, but it might be interesting to explain what it is and its history. I was delighted with my experience of getting so close to Japanese theatre culture.

A fun experience of Japanese culture. - My wife, some friends and I went on this tour. It was a great experience to have your face painted like a kabuki performer. But it didn’t end there. Next was wearing traditional kabuki clothing and doing a performance on the kabuki stage. After that we went to the kabuki museum which also had many traditional Japanese goods. Truly a great experience.

Recommended for Beginners of Kabuki - As beginners with no knowledge of jikabuki itself, the people of the Aioi-za gave us a lot of explanations and showed us around every corner of the theater. Some places are a little difficult to understand, too. I'd like to go there again outside of summer.
