Wadi Rum Protected Area - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel in Aqaba, embark on a journey to Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of The Moon, which feels like stepping into another world. This vast, silent, and timelessly beautiful place is one of Jordan’s top tourist destinations, renowned as the most stunning desert landscape globally. It is located 320 km southwest of Amman, 120 km south of Petra, and just 68 km north of Aqaba. The uniquely shaped massive mountains rise vertically from the pink desert sands, creating a magnificent desert scene of strange and breathtaking beauty, with towering cliffs of weathered stone. The wind has eroded the sheer rock faces into shapes resembling men, animals, and monsters. Enjoy a Jeep Safari tour through the desert, visiting various impressive sites and natural wonders. Stop at a Bedouin tent to savor Arabic tea, then continue the tour to witness the breathtaking sunset in Wadi Rum before heading to the desert camp for an overnight stay.

Wadi Rum - Petra - Visit Petra - Amman

Petra - After breakfast, drive to Petra, which is approximately 100 km from Wadi Rum. Arrive in Petra around 9:00 AM, where a guide or escort will arrange entrance tickets and a short horse ride. The visit begins with a short walk through the main and only entrance to Petra, gathering beside the (SIQ), a long narrow path between two massive rocky mountains about 1.2 km long. The guide will accompany the group throughout the journey. The first impressive site to behold is Al-Khazneh (Treasury), one of the most elegant ancient structures carved out of solid rock from the mountainside. It stands nearly 140 feet high and 90 feet wide. Continue to explore hundreds of carved structures, the Roman Theater (with 7,000 seats) built by the Nabateans, and visit the Royal Tombs, Court, Cardo Street, and Qasr Al-Bint (The Castle of Pharaoh’s Daughter). After the visit, drive to Amman, a four-hour journey, arriving for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman

Jerash Ruins - After breakfast, transfer to Jerash and enjoy a tour of the Roman city, one of Jordan’s most popular tourist destinations. The ancient city of Jerash has been inhabited for over 6,500 years and came under Roman rule in 63 BC. It is recognized as one of the best-preserved Roman towns globally, having been hidden for centuries before its recent rediscovery. The city showcases a beautiful blend of Roman and Middle Eastern architecture. The ancient and modern cities are located side by side, separated only by a wall. Jerash is about 30 miles north of the capital, Amman, and the ruins have been meticulously preserved to maintain their authenticity. Notable sights include the hippodrome, a partially restored Roman-era stadium, the Temple of Artemis, dedicated to the city’s patron goddess, and the Jerash Archaeological Museum.

Ajlun Castle (Qala’at ar-Rabad) - Later, about 10 miles away, visit Ajlun Castle, situated atop a mountain. Ajlun Castle is a maze of corridors and floors offering stunning views of the surrounding area and showcasing fascinating architectural styles. Then return to Amman.

Amman - Dead Sea - Aqaba

Dead Sea Region - After breakfast, head towards the shores of the Dead Sea, and later drive to Aqaba.
