Great family food activity - This was a fabulous activity for our adult family group. We learned alot about Korean food and family life. Enough leftovers for a whole other meal. It was a well thought out menu in a professional kitchen environment.

Cheerfully wonderful cooking experience. - Hi, This was my a wonderful cooking class and the 2 1/2 hrs I spent were amazing. From the brown rice tea and the cinnamon drink to making all the 7 dishes to the surprise desert at the end... everything was well organized. We had Sally as the chef guiding us while Elly was quietly and busily clearing things away and setting things up for the next dish. You get to cook and eat at the same time. Be careful to not eat too much of any 1 thing after you are done at the beginning as you will get too full to enjoy the lunch at the end. Everything is fully prepared for you so you get to put the ingredients in and learn how to make the dishes. They are there helping you every step of the way. I was delighted that what I cooked was flavorful...you cannot go wrong that is how well planned and easy they make it for you. They even gave us to go boxes and I skipped the meals on my flight back and enjoyed my own cooked meals. It is very easy to get to the class from the subway following the directions they provide. They are a cheerful group that treat their customers with kindness. I am glad I choose to take this class.

Learn to cook like a Demon Hunter - Fantastic course that takes you trough common Korean dishes. We learned to make rice rolls, kimchi pancakes and noodles. As enjoyed by the characters in the popular movie, and Koreans at home. Raw materials were excellent, so the meal was a really tasty and high quality experience, not just a learning experience. Teacher was also super-nice, and staff was helpful to ensure we had everything needed, and not make mistakes 😅 Thank you to SCB for providing this experience

Delicious, easy and fun - Love Korean food but the recipes have always been a bit intimidating. They shouldn't be. It's not hard, and this class will show you how and why. Olivia, our teacher, was funny, friendly and patient. The ingredients are all laid out for you in the proper proportions so you don't have to wonder where you hid the gochuchang or worry about measuring. The food is delicious. You can take pictures of ingredients in the Korean packaging so that it's not a mystery when you see it on the supermarket shelves at home. Best part, you get a recipe book so that there's no need to take notes and you don't forget anything. Got home last night, just made my H Mart shopping list, and I'm about to head out to the local Asian market to get busy making delicious Korean dishes.

A Delicious Welcome to Seoul – Hands-On Fun and Local Flavor! - Whenever I travel, I love taking a cooking class to learn more about the local food and culture, and this one did not disappoint! Elly was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. As someone who is gluten/wheat intolerant, I really appreciated that Elly had substitutions ready — there was no fumbling or slowing the class down because of my dietary needs. She even showed me the packaging so I could look for it to buy later! My favorites: kimchee savory fried pancakes and the Japchae noodle dish! I also loved the Seoul Cooking Club’s “Plan Your Itinerary” page, which suggested things to do before or after the class. Elly went above and beyond by recommending more foodie spots near Insadong-gil, such as the Salt Bread place (Jayeondo Salt Bread – 자연도소금빵), Blue Soy Crab, and many other delightful places just across the street from the class. We even managed to find Makgeolli (막걸리) — a traditional Korean fermented rice wine — and do a tasting flight! Thank you, Seoul Cooking Club and Elly, for kicking off our vacation with such fun stories, great education, and absolutely delicious food! Tips: - Good for families, friends, couples, solo - Allow extra time before or after your cooking class to explore the neighborhood - Go hungry; you will be able to snack on what you made through the cooking process! - Use Naver Map and not iPhone Map.
