• Apartheid Museum - The next destination is the Apartheid Museum, a unique institution that depicts South Africa during the challenging apartheid years. The museum presents the rise and fall of apartheid through 22 individual exhibitions, offering an emotional journey from the struggle for freedom and equality to the historic election of Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first Black president. By mid-day, the visit to the Apartheid Museum allows time to enjoy refreshments at the Truth Café (at own expense).
• FNB Stadium - En route to Soweto, the tour passes by the National Football Stadium City, the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 World Cup.
• Baragwanath - Departing the museum around 14h00, the tour heads to Soweto, passing notable landmarks such as the FNB Soccer Stadium, Baragwanath Hospital, and the towering Soweto Towers.
