Eswatini (Swaziland) - The driver will meet the operator at a designated location at OR Tambo International Airport. The itinerary will be discussed before heading onto the N4 Highway towards the Oshoek Border Gate into Eswatini.

Ngwenya Glass - Eswatini - The first stop after completing border formalities will be Ngwenya Glass. This factory began as a community skills training project where locals learned an old Swedish glass-blowing technique. Over the years, it has grown into a major tourist attraction. Visitors can watch the artisans at work from an observation platform. A factory shop nearby offers souvenirs.

Mbabane - Mbabane is the capital of Eswatini. The driver/guide will highlight important stories about the city and point out significant buildings and statues.

Mbabane Market - A visit to this market allows interaction with locals while appreciating the various offerings sold in stalls, including local fruits, vegetables, traditional medicines, art, and craft items. Afterwards, guests will be dropped off at their overnight accommodation in the heart of the Lobamba district.

Mantenga Nature Reserve - This village was created to showcase both the past and present history, culture, and customs of the people of Eswatini through music, dance, and storytelling. Visitors will have the chance to interact directly with locals who are always willing to answer questions about their country.

Guided Tour of Eswatini & Transfer to iSimangaliso Wetland Park

King Sobusha II Memorial Park - Dedicated to King Sobuza II, said to be the longest-serving king of this small country. A local guide will discuss important political figures and events.

Swazi Candles - Similar to the glass factory, locals were trained in working with wax to create ornamental objects. It has become a must-visit attraction.

St Lucia - St Lucia is a contender for the title of South Africa’s wildest town. It is located on a jungle-covered peninsula between the vast St Lucia estuary and the Indian Ocean. Visitors might see hippos, warthogs, or bushbucks roaming the streets, and birds like the African fish eagle, trumpeter hornbill, and purple-crested turaco calling from the canopy. Besides wildlife, St Lucia is a modern town with many restaurants and serves as the best urban base for exploring iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its terrestrial and marine biodiversity. Overnight accommodation will be at iGwalagwala Guest House in St. Lucia before proceeding to the Underberg area the next day.

Shoreline Hippo and Croc Boat Cruises | St Lucia - Enjoy the chance to see crocodiles and hippos in their natural habitat. There are also many South African birds to spot during the cruise.

Travel to Underberg

Underberg - The day will be spent traveling by vehicle to the south coast, with occasional stops for stretching and refreshments before checking in at Ceder Guest House in Underberg.

Tour of Sani Pass and Lesotho

Sani Pass - Enjoy a scenic drive in a 4x4 vehicle with an experienced and knowledgeable local guide. Departing early in the morning, the journey meanders through the rugged roads of the Drakensberg Mountains until reaching the border control for the famous 10 km trip into Lesotho territory. During this adventure, there will be an opportunity to savor local beer and other drinks at the highest pub in Africa at Sani Mountain Lodge. The trip will conclude late in the afternoon before being dropped off at the final destination.

OR Tambo or Durban

Johannesburg - Unfortunately, this is the last day of the tour. It is hoped that the trip was enjoyable and that there will be a chance to see the guests again in the future. Enjoy the next leg of the journey to Johannesburg. NOTE: Drop-off can also be arranged in Durban or at King Shaka International.
