A guided walk through the sandy streets past local homes and a typical informal settlement daycare, supported by MoAfrika Tours and visitors, is included. - Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial - The Hector Pieterson Museum, a significant museum in Orlando West, Soweto, South Africa, is located two blocks from where Hector Pieterson was tragically shot on June 16, 1976. Due to COVID-19 regulations, the museum is currently closed, but the site is viewed from the outside with a detailed explanation from the guide.
- Vilakazi Street - The tour proceeds down the lively Vilakazi Street, passing iconic landmarks and the residences of Nelson and Winnie Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
- Mandela House - If time allows, there is an option to visit the Nelson Mandela Museum (at own expense).
- Orlando Towers - The morning concludes at the impressive Soweto Towers. Lunch is not included, so visitors can purchase food and drinks (at own expense) from a café, explore the craft market, and either watch or participate in bungee jumping off the towers (at own expense and if time permits).
