Make this your first stop in Johannesburg! - It was our first day on holiday and we wanted to go straight to Soweto. The tour was hard as it was a lot of ups and downs on old bicycles and rough streets and paths, but it was amazing! What a great way to experience the history of this country and meet the people. People were yelling hello to us as we went by on the bikes and encouraging us as we were going back up the hills. It was an experience we will never forget! Well worth the money and time!

Highlight of the Trip! - My friend and I went out with Tumi and Lerato and had the best day! They took us around, gave us really interesting insight into Soweto's history and current life. They were super fun and adaptable to what we were interested in. This trip was honestly the highlight of our time in Joburg (save our friend's wedding). I cannot recommend this enough.

This was valuable with the caveat... -
This was valuable with the caveat that one needs to be prepared for intense heat - remember to wear a full hat I just had a cap and total sunscreen. Surprisingly, lots of uphill biking on shouldn't have been surprising old bikes. But worth it all - I'll never forget it. So grateful for the fine young men escorting and explaining everything we saw. Thank you so much!
