Eye Opening Visit to Soweto - We had an AMAZING half day experience with Nkuli and highly recommend his services. He had great command of the historical material and was extremely open to all of our questions, which he handled with care and precision. His charity work is admirable and he is a true voice for change and advancement. Himself being from Soweto added invaluable context and insight to our experience. HIGHLY recommend and congratulations Nkuli on what you've created - truly visionary!

Amazing and Must Do walking tour! - Nkuli is an amazing guide, very experienced and professional. His knowledge of the history of Soweto, as well as socio-economic and political developments of South Africa is impressive. The walking tour is must for anyone interested in understanding South African history and culture, as well as current situation. Nkuli is also one of the founders of a community center supporting children's education. I have enjoyed the walking tour a lot and somehow I regret not to have booked the one with lunch ! :)

To do absolutely - Very friendly guide, which is essential to discover Soweto. The visit is both very interesting and moving and does not miss the hardness of life in some neighborhoods.

Visit Doweto with an insider - Not the 'traditional" tourist visit of Soweto. My guide Chico of Nikuli Tours, knows the area and local people well in Soweto and Kliptown area. He was very detailed on history and socio-economic struggles of Soeeto's people and let me met local inhabitants who are very welcoming with the guests he takes around. If you wish to spend time inside museums you should ask him openly as the tour has visits inside museums at discretion of the participant(s).

Great! Super informative bike ride - A superb morning by bike with Thabiso and Fortuna! Agency recommended by the backpacker and almost one of the only ones that offers a tour in French. We were with Thabiso, a young local from Soweto (Kliptown) accompanied by our translator Fortuna. Thabiso was very good at explaining the history of Soweto, Apartheid and everything else. He is very attentive and also knows how to answer questions We ended the tour with a typical Soweto lunch while eating a Kota. We also got to meet Nkuli who does a lot for the neighborhood children, congratulations to him! The visit seems a bit expensive but ultimately it helps the community a lot. Go ahead with your eyes closed

Amazing, genuine, and insightful experience - The tour was very informative and insightful. Our two guides took us on a bike tour of almost 4 hours through the different lower, middle, and upper class parts of the townships and neighborhoods. They were able to give very useful information about many different locations on the way. They were very easy going. Among the points of interest were different townships, the Shalk foundation, Nelson Mandela's house, Desmond Tutu’s house, and the location of the student uprising. Would definitely recommend taking the tour!
