Very nice and safe TukTuk tour - We had a wonderful experience with the team of honest travel experience.
At first we were very skeptical about the TukTukTour through Johannesburg. You often hear about the crime and unsafe streets in the city. Nevertheless, we booked the tour. Initially, the coordination regarding the pick-up or transfer was a bit bumpy, but the transport worked great. We were picked up directly from the hotel and also brought back on time.
There were two of us on the tour, had two guides who accompanied the TukTuk with the ERoller and a driver who drove the vehicle. There were two of us in the TukTuk. The cover of the TukTuk was pulled down a bit more, so that although you could not take pictures of the vehicle, it was well protected.
The two leaders were very nice and competent. We were driven to all the sights of the city, had enough time to get out, take photos and could ask any questions.
Overall, the tour is highly recommended. We felt safe at all times and can recommend this tour 100%.

This trip was rejuvenating .therefore,traveling is relearning the important and unlearning the uneducatìng - I loved camping, loved venues and sites for camp and travelling by bus anď sõcialising and networking.and put the cherry on top o loved the food.

AMAZING - I loved every minute of our Drakensberg trip! Honest Travel and Franck made us feel welcome, catered to our needs and encouraged us all to bond with each other throughout the weekend. I especially loved the hikes we did and the different conversations we had as people from different backgrounds. Also got lots of time to relax and just breathe in the fresh air! Definitely going back again so and you should too :)

Unique, Amazing, Fun Times - The Honest Travel team was amazing. Very organised and easy to deal.
The actual trip was amazing. Me & my girl had the best time of our lives. I will recommend Honest Travel to anyone who wishes to travel at a budget.

Top notch service - I have nothing but praise for Honest Travel, the company that organized this tour. I had an eight hour layover in Johannesburg and had no interest in sitting in the airport that entire time. I was picked up at the airport (for a small additional fee) and brought to the downtown where I was greeted by my guide and Tuk Tuk driver. I was given a tour of the city, had a great lunch with my guide and delivered back to the airport with no issues. They were very professional and I recommend them for bookings. Having said that, I didn't find Johannesburg itself to be a very exciting place.

False advertising - Bait & Switch. None of their Tuk-Tuks were working and all needed maixtenance but would we accept a bus instead.? Now if “all” of their tuk-tuks are broken then why keep advertising that they have them? Nope, no other conclusion: bait & switch.
We didn’t bite.

Bushfire 2022 epic fail - These people literally canceled the Bushfire trip the night before. All they had were apologies and no alternatives. I’ve attached the WhatsApp message that was sent. They sighted passport issues like that was an unforseeable issue. Not only that they also didn’t give us refunds so we can attend Bushfire on our own by some miracle. I found them to be extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Had we been give sufficient time to make alternative arrangements it would have been better or at least give us out money back. I had already taken leave and packed and ready to leave at 7am and instructed. Never again. 🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮. We actually spent money preparing for this and that all was for naught!
I doubt we will even get our money back! Words cannot express how upset I am shame.
