Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park - The transfer shuttle will leave from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport bus terminal at 07:00 AM, heading to Nelspruit. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, with a lunch stop along the way (at your own expense). Upon arrival in Nelspruit, a friendly guide will greet you and escort you to our tented camp located in the south-western region of Kruger National Park. After a chance to stretch, you’ll embark on a late afternoon or sunset game drive. Dinner will be served under the stars at our private camp within Pretoriuskop. You’ll spend the night in a tent equipped with two single beds.
Kruger National Park Safari
Kruger National Park - An early morning departure from the camp will have you joining our knowledgeable and experienced guide for at least eight to ten hours of game viewing in our Open Safari Game Viewing Vehicle. Kruger is home to 147 mammal species (including the Big 5), 114 reptile species, and 502 bird species. Breaks will be taken at various camps and picnic spots to stretch and enjoy a meal. After an exhilarating day of game viewing, exploring the African Bushveld, and learning, you’ll return to camp for dinner under the African night sky or at the Camp’s Restaurant.
Blyde River Canyon to Johannesburg
Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve - Following breakfast, you’ll visit the third deepest canyon in the world, the “Blyde River Canyon.” This easy, relaxing day trip from Kruger National Park is enriched with fascinating insights from our experienced local guides. The canyon stretches over twenty kilometers, with stops at numerous breathtaking viewpoints. Short walks along cliffs and longer hikes through mountain rainforests, filled with exotic birds, rare flowering shrubs, and towering waterfalls, are available for those interested. Scheduled stops and hikes include God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Pinnacle, Lisbon Falls, the Three Rondavels, and other stunning viewpoints, depending on time constraints.
After the final panoramic stop, you’ll be driven to catch the late (6 PM) transfer shuttle back to Johannesburg, arriving at the airport late in the evening (10 PM).
