The Yumen Pass & Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, Yangguan Pass

Yumen Pass - Explore the Yumen Pass and Yangguan Pass, along with the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty. Historically, the Han Dynasty constructed numerous walls to secure the frontier and facilitate trade with the western regions. Unlike other dynasties that used stones or bricks, the Han Dynasty’s Great Wall was built using local sand and weeds, layered alternately. Visit the Yangguan Pass and its museum, where a special souvenir awaits.

Yulin Caves & Suoyangcheng Ruins

Yulin Grotto - Visit the Yulin Grottoes, which share a similar origin in content, artistic style, and painting form with the Mogao Grottoes, earning it the title of its sister site. The tour includes three special caves.

Dunhuang - After lunch, transfer to Dunhuang Airport (DNH) for your flight to the next city. Alternatively, transfer to Dunhuang Railway Station to take the high-speed train to Jiayuguan, Zhangye, Xining, or Lanzhou. Assistance with booking train tickets is available.
