Confucius Temple-Kong’s Family Mansion-Cemetery of Confucius
Confucius Temple - Meet the private tour guide and driver at the hotel lobby or Qufu Train Station in the morning, and proceed to the first destination, Confucius Temple. This is the largest and most famous Confucius temple in East Asia. Alongside the Summer Palace in Beijing and the Mountain Resort of Chengde, it ranks among the three largest ancient architectural complexes in China.
Kong Mansion - Following the visit to the Temple of Confucius, continue to Kong Mansion, situated on the east side of the Confucius Temple. The Kong Family Mansion was historically the residence of Confucius’s direct descendants in Qufu, the hometown of Confucius in Shandong Province, China.
Kong Forest - Enjoy a delightful lunch at a highly recommended local restaurant, Lu Cheng Wang Shi. After lunch, head to Kong Forest, the Cemetery of Confucius, which includes hundreds of tombs and gravesites. Confucius himself, some of his disciples, and many thousands of his descendants are buried here. After the tour, return to the hotel.
Mount Tai
Mount Tai - The tour guide and private driver will meet at the hotel lobby in the morning and drive to Mount Tai, approximately 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, take a cable car with the tour guide from Heavenly Gate to the top of the mountain, spending around 2 hours there, including a visit to the Jade Emperor Temple. Then, take the cable car down to the Mid Heavenly Gate and return to the mountain’s entrance. After the visit, enjoy a local lunch. Choose to either return to Qufu or stay in Tai’an.
