This day is filled with natural sights, starting from Lake Bohinj to the ski resort. Here, we witness the range of mountains in the Julian Alps, with the highest peak, Triglav, surrounded by snowy summits.
From Komna, through seven lake valley, to bivouac na Prehodavcih.
Vogel - Dom na Komni mountain hut 1,520m – Čelo 2,232m – Lopučnica 1,550m – Koča pri Sedmerih jezerih mountain hut 1,685m – bivouac na Prehodavcih 2,070m.
We start skiing from the hut and continue to Čelo. From there, we ski down to the Seven Lake Valley, which in winter is blanketed with snow, hiding the lakes beneath. The valley is encircled by snowy peaks, and after a long but scenic trek, we reach our next destination with the most magnificent view, the bivouac Prehodavci.
Last day-returning home-from bivouac to Krma valley
Julian Alps - Bivouac na Prehodavcih 2,070m – Kanjavec 2,568m – Hribarice 2,358m – Velska dolina 1,750m – Bohinjska vratca 1,973m – Krma 980m.
We begin with an ascent to the highest Slovenian point for ski touring. After the climb, we ski down towards the Velo Pelje Valley, enjoying a long and pleasant descent of more than 800 vertical meters. At the Vodnikov Dom hut (closed in winter), we have a short ascent followed by a long skiing traverse down to Krma Valley. This day is the shortest of the three, but we cover the most vertical distance.
