• Jeondong Catholic Church - Founded in the spring of 1889, this cathedral saw French priest Bodune become its first head priest. By 1891, he had acquired the house and land here, initiating pastoral ministry activities in Jeonju.

• Jeonju Hanok Village - As Korea’s largest traditional hanok village, it boasts over 700 hanoks in Pungnam-dong, Jeonju, and is the sole urban hanok county in the nation. This area plays a crucial role in the evolution of Korea’s modern residential culture, with construction starting in 1910. Although it was destroyed during the Jeongyu Rebellion in the 30th year of King Seonjo’s reign (1597), it was reconstructed in the 6th year of King Gwanghaegun’s reign (1614).

• Korea Expressway Corporation Arboretum (Jeonju Arboretum) - The Jeonju Arboretum, managed by the Korea Expressway Corporation, is dedicated to producing and supplying trees to rehabilitate the natural environment affected by highway construction. It collects various plant species, serving as a natural learning center, and conducts research on the preservation, proliferation, distribution, and development of native plants.
