The sunset view from this volcanic cone rivals that of Sarabong Volcanic Cone. From the observatory at Suwolbong Peak, visitors can see Chagwido Island, Songaksan Mountain, Dansan Mountain, and Jukdo Island, and even observe Sarabong with binoculars. Suwolbong is associated with the legend of Nokdumul, a tale of a brother and sister’s devotion to their parents. According to the legend, siblings Nokgo and Suwol were gathering 100 herbs to cure their mother’s illness but couldn’t find the last herb, Acanthopanax senticosus. Upon learning it grew on Suwolbong Peak’s cliff, Suwol, the sister, climbed the cliff to retrieve it. - Dodu Rainbow Coastal Road - Capture stunning photos of the coastal road with the seven colors of the rainbow set against the beautiful sea backdrop.
