  Your driver will be taking photos at several locations along the river, so there’s no need for your camera or phone on the river. Pictures will be ready for purchase on a memory stick at the end of your adventure. These can be purchased directly from the bus driver, or by coming by our store.

Sunwapta River

the only class 3 trip in Jasper National Park

Refine your rowing techniques during the serene start, leading up to the damp and untamed portions. You don’t need prior experience to partake in this exciting and refreshing aquatic escapade. The excursion concludes with an intense glacial splash courtesy of The Whopper- a wave famous in the area.

Participants need to be 12 years or older and ready to engage in paddling.

Transport is available from the Jasper town center.

• May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
• Minimum 12 years of age
• Prepared to paddle - although no experience required
• Arrive 60 minutes prior to the trip time.
• Wear your bathing suit or t-shirt and shorts under regular clothes. All river gear is provided.
