The Hat trick!! - We have done many guided tours and this has to be one of the best. Sam was our guide and he really was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgable and passionate about his subject. He was friendly, very receptive to all questions and had a great sense of humour. The sightings of the grizzly bear and the 3 x moose were the icing on the cake. Couldn't fault the tour and would recommend it to anyone coming to Jasper.

I saw several wild animals during the day it was incredible. We were very lucky to see a moose up close, which was definitely a highlight of the day. Heaven - There aren’t enough superlatives in the English language to do justice to the quality of our trip and especially to our guide Sam. He was amiable, witty, and so incredibly knowledgeable. His love of Jasper, its environs, and its people was obvious; his respect for the natural world even more so. We couldn’t have had a better guide. And WE SAW A MOOSE!

A fantastic Jasper tour - Sam the tour guide was brilliant. So informative and easy to understand. He incorporated the devastating 2024 Jasper wild fire into his commentary with excellent knowledge and compassion. The mountain and lake views were to die for and we even saw a moose to put the icing on a delicious cake!

An excellent day of discovery - What an amazing way to experience the wildlife around Jasper! Our guide, Ross was incredibly knowledgeable and excellent at finding and pointing out much of the wildlife that is still in the Jasper area after the wildfires. We saw Eagles, Osprey, Marmots, horned sheep and much more, whilst also understanding more fully the impact of the 2024 fire on both the wildlife and the local community. Ross was engaging, knowledgeable and made sure everyone had the time to take photos as required, nothing felt rushed. Without doubt, one of the best ways to experience Jasper’s wildlife - highly recommended

Good intro to Jasper, but Maligne facilities not open until June - We only had 36 hours in Jasper, so without this tour we wouldn't have known what to see. For us, Jasper highlights were the wildlife. We saw 6 bears on our own, and a bald eagle on nest during this tour (plus a number of elk and a marmot). This tour went along Maligne Lake Road. We saw the canyon, Medicine Lake, and walked along Maligne lake, which was still partly frozen. The restaurant at Maligne doesn't open until June, so we scrambled to buy snacks in town before heading out. Spirit island is at the far end of the lake, beyond what we could see on the trail. Our guide was friendly, and explained the events around the large forest fire in 2024. The approx 1/3 of the town that was lost is in the midst of a multi year rebuilding, and I would suggest driving through that area on your own to see the recovery in progress.
