Strongly suggest you go when you are anywhere in this area! - I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, this was simply an amazing experience. If you have any sense of humor at all (and are at least 15 or so), I really believe you will have a great time. My wife and I spent nearly five hours here and I loved every minute of it. There were so many different types of comedy that it was easy to have a great time. Not every comic (or type of comedy) was amazing but there was so much here, it was easy to have a great time.

Visit this museum. - This place is great. Numerous hands on activities. Tons of clips from comedians. Love the way they explain how comedy works. Also a section on cartoons. You can spend the whole day here.

It will put a smile on your face - I great place to spend an afternoon. They have lots and lots to see. Movies, costumes, lots of memorabilia. I have a hard time walking and there were lots of places to sit and rest along the way. You have to check out the 1st bench after the cross over! It was nice to sit and laugh and see faces of comedians we hadn't seen in a long time. Don't forget to create your profile when you go it. Lots of surprises follow.

Wonderful and funny of laughs - The most interactive and personalized experience that I have had at a museum. The staff was super helpful and friendly. My family and I spend almost the whole day enjoying all the exhibits. Good for families and for adults. Don't miss the blue room for the raunchy comedy. They even email you a detailed summary of the visit

Fun and Funny - This is so fun and many interactive displays. History of comedy for over 100 years. Really enjoyed the experience. Buy the combined ticket with Lucy/Desi Museum - it is worth doing both!

Great Experience, but customer support needs work - I visited the National Comedy Center with family and was surprised and excited by the fun and interactive experience. Some of the most fun I've had at a museum. While I would love to give a 5 star review, I had to remove a star for my after visit experience. I was led to believe I would receive an after visit email detailing my visit and after emailing the center, I received an email telling me the summary was sent and I opened it (the email was not sent, no one in my party of 6 received an email). Upon further follow up via phone and email, our request for the summary of our visit fell on deaf ears and I still sit here today weeks after my visit, disappointed without an after visit summary. Disappointed with the lack of responsiveness post visit.

Great visit but misses the mark on a few points - It may be that my expectations were too high but it was a bit of a letdown. First the good: the Carson and Laugh In movies were great. The Carlin exhibit was a bit underwhelming, I was hoping for more, but it was good, as was the Carl Reiner exhibit. The whole customization/interactive bracelet when you enter I took as kind of a marketing gimmick and I want to see what the outcome actually is. I would have liked to have seen some newer comics work… I saw one clip of Whitney Cummings, one of Chapelle, and almost no Taylor Tomlinson or Gabriel Iglesias, a bit odd considering they were just there a few weeks ago (I did get a picture of Fluffy’s shirt tho) . The Blue Room was kind of a waste, despite Carlin’s scroll as you enter. The whole interactive part at the end would be fun if you were part of a group, but as a couple it’s kind of a quick pass. I wouldn’t miss it, but keep your expectations in check.
