- YS Falls - Located on the southern end of Jamaica, YS Falls is a functioning cattle ranch and horse farm. The falls are enveloped by lush gardens and magnificent trees. A 10-minute tractor ride will transport visitors to the falls, offering breathtaking views of mountains, verdant fields with horses, and a scenic ride along the beautiful river. Visitors can also stop by the gift shop to decide on activities at YS Falls. Enjoy jumping off the falls, swinging on the rope, or trying the zip line. There is a separate natural pool, fed by both underground and above-ground springs, suitable for young children and non-swimmers.
- Floyd’s Pelican Bar - Situated between Treasure Beach and Black River, visitors are taken by a fishing boat to a rustic wooden bar built on a sandbar a quarter mile out to sea. The Pelican Bar is an ideal spot for sunbathing, enjoying a beer, swimming, and savoring fresh fried fish. The bar was the dream of local fisherman Floyd Forbes, who envisioned a bar built out to sea, resting on stilts. Large wooden planks were transported on his fishing boat, and in 2001, “The Pelican Bar” was completed, named after the large flocks of pelicans that rested on the sandbank. It quickly became a popular spot for locals and tourists, offering picture-perfect serenity. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunset (weather permitting), cliff diving, and listening to the Reggae Band. It’s a perfect place to relax with a cocktail in hand. The boat ride takes between 15-20 minutes but is well worth the journey.

Private Tour to YS Falls and Pelican Bar - This tour had the potential to go really well. Our driver was prompt to pick us up; however, he made several stops along the way that we did not request. He left us in the car several times. Once we got to YS Falls, he again disappeared, and I had to contact dispatch who quickly responded and helped us locate him. Aside from the terrible driver, the falls themselves were amazing and we had a wonderful guide to help us get across. He also was an expert camera man, taking a lot of great pictures and videos. Floyds Pelican Bar is quite the experience. I would recommend getting there as early as possible, especially if you want to eat.
