You can see the history of the black movement. - I visited Rastafari in the summer of 2019, before COVID-19. I asked Carlos to pick me up from the hotel. I had no prior knowledge, but it was a small settlement that continued the tradition of Rastafari, which was once a big black movement. From the car park, you will need to take off your shoes to cross the river on the way. Inspired by the anti-imperialism in Ethiopia, the movement influenced Bob Marley, who explained history and sold artefacts there, and I think the main source of income is souvenir sales for tourists. It's not a village that feels like life, but you can learn about Jamaica and the origins of the black movement. The next day Carlos took care of me and I went Martha Bray River rafting. You can enjoy a very quiet river rafting. And for another day, I asked Carlos, too, to travel to and from Kingston and the Blue Mountains coffee farms. The world's highest mountain, the Blue Mountains, still tastes special. You can buy coffee beans on the farm, but it's not cheap. That's how good the quality is and how delicious it is. Even after I came back to Japan, I still buy Blue Mountain, but it doesn’t taste as good as the beans I bought there. 　On the way back, we stopped by Bob Marley's museum. From Montego Bay to Kingston it took a full day. 　I think the impact of COVID-19 on Jamaica's tourism industry is significant, but I hope it will be revived soon.

changed For the good - On this trip to Jamaica I wanted to experience culture and the beauty of the country . This day trip was beyond the best excursion I’ve ever taken over the years ... I would go as far to say it was life changing . The love and the beauty of the Rastafarian life was so enlightening, and compelling. The people in this group are gracious and kind and you feel the peace upon arrival . I will go back when I visit Jamaica again . I apprecialove them .

Amazing! - My husband and I had an amazing visit to the Rastafari Indigenous Village. It was very informative about the culture and history of the Rastafarian. The guides are very welcoming and I felt an air of peace. The walk in was quite beautiful and the river water refreshing. We were served fruit and chocolate tea; loved the chocolate tea. I would highly recommend this tour to any visitors. Its a must see!

Thank you Kevin - Our driver Kevin was on time. He was so familiar with the place there he took us to the village and the rastafarians made us beat drums. The rich culture of the rastafarians was so fascinating. We had such a great time. I think everyone you ever visit jamaica should do this excursion. We recommend Jamaica Mesmerizing Tours. Rasta Village - Our driver Kevin was very friendly and accommodating. He gave us some history of the area during our drive to the village. We ended up staying a little longer because we got there late and the host wanted to make sure we learned about the history that we missed from being tardy. Overall it was a fun learning experience.
