- Black River - At the Black River, guests will board a boat for an exhilarating nature tour along Jamaica’s longest navigable river. As they cruise the Black River, they will experience the authentic Jamaica, observing native wildlife and local fishermen in their dugout canoes catching river shrimp.
- Floyd’s Pelican Bar - Situated between Treasure Beach and Black River, guests will be taken by a fishing boat to a charming wooden bar built on a sandbar a quarter mile out to sea. The Pelican Bar is an ideal spot for sunbathing, enjoying a beer, swimming, and savoring fresh fried fish. The bar was the vision of local fisherman Floyd Forbes, who dreamed of a bar built out to sea, resting on stilts. Large wooden planks were transported on his fishing boat, and in 2001, “The Pelican Bar” was completed, named after the large flocks of pelicans that rested on the sandbank. It quickly became a favorite among locals and tourists for its picturesque tranquility. Visitors can enjoy the stunning sunset (weather permitting), watch cliff diving, and listen to the Reggae Band. It’s the perfect place to relax with a cocktail in hand.
