Amazing Private tour of Bib Marleys birth home - We decided to do a private tour to Bob Marleys home. Our driver Jermaine was very knowledgeable and stopped along the way to point out and let us take photos. We arrived at the house and we were met by a tour guide who talked is through each stages of Bob’s life. We watched a tribute band okay thier songs they were brilliant. We were very much to go on Bob Marleys 81st birthday so we sang and celebrated his birthday by dancing g and were offered cake. Jermaine waited for us to bring us back to our hotel thank you Jermaine. All I can say is yeah man

Humbling Bob Marley Experience - We had a private tour just to Nine Mile. Jermaine, our driver and guide was amazing, constantly making sure we were okay on the 3 1/2 hour trip from Negril. He is a very safe and informative driver. Nine Mile is a very humbling experience, showing Bob's life before being famous, and of course his resting place along with his beloved mother. Would definitely recommend

Great climb to the top - We had a great time. The guide was helpful and patient with everyone. There is obviously some climbing and slippery areas. One lady quit halfway through but everyone else stayed the course. It was fun.

A long day - A very long day. Day started by being picked up at 7:15 from grand palladium hotel. No chance of getting breakfast first. Bus driver Kieth and guide carina were fantastic. Stopped on the way to a gift shop and food stop where we could buy water shoes and any other bits prior to getting to Dunn river. Shop was slightly overpriced for some things. Arrived at Dunn river and checked in and issued wristbands. Walked down to the beach to start the climb. My 10yr old struggled with his confidence to climb but we managed to get up to the first exit point which was half way before we decided to stop. We walked back to the top of the waterfall and it was stunning. To exit the waterfalls back to the bus we had to walk through a market where we just couldn’t get out and avoid being pestered to buy something. We left the falls and headed to the roxborough to get lunch. We were given cheap fruit juice that wasn’t very nice and lunch was a Buffett of chicken rice and coleslaw. My son doesn’t eat anything out out but carina managed to get him some fries cooked at no extra cost. The ride up to nine mile was scary with the roads being narrow and over hanging cliffs but Kieth mastered it Jo issues. We arrived at 9 mile and Bob Marley mausoleum. Went over the road first to the market where you can buy weed produced products. Not just joints but creams gummies and oils. The tour was fantastic and we were lucky enough to have a cousin to the legend give us the tour. Smoking of weed is permitted while walking about so be prepared to be exposed to it. We left 9 mile and got back to our hotel at 8:30 hungry and tired. This tour would be better broken down into 2

Unforgettable Day in Jamaica – Great Tour with a Few Tips! - We booked the Jamaica Combo Tour: Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley’s Nine Mile, including the optional Luminous Lagoon add-on, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! Hotel Pickup & Tour Overview: Our day started with a prompt hotel pickup around 8:30 AM—we were the second stop, and a few more guests were picked up after us. Mr. Washington, our bilingual tour guide, did an excellent job keeping everyone informed and comfortable throughout the day. He made the experience fun and seamless. Stop 1 – Souvenir & Rum Shop: Our first stop was a souvenir shop that also offered free alcohol samples. I highly recommend trying Sangster’s Coconut Jamaica Rum Cream—it's delicious on its own and even better over ice. Definitely worth purchasing a bottle to bring home! Stop 2 – Dunn’s River Falls: Next, we visited the famous Dunn’s River Falls—and it was truly amazing! When you first see the waterfall, it’s hard to imagine making it to the top, but the guides are so helpful and encouraging. There are plenty of rest stops and chances to swim or slide along the way, so don't worry about getting too tired. I wore water shoes for the entire tour, and they were perfect for this part. Stop 3 – Lunch at Mongoose Restaurant: After the falls, we stopped for lunch, which was included in the tour. The food was decent, but I wish there was an option to request white or dark meat, and personally would’ve preferred dark. Stop 4 – Bob Marley’s Nine Mile Tour: From there, we made our way to Nine Mile. The drive up into the mountains was beautiful, and the tour itself was very interesting. We got to walk through Bob Marley’s childhood home and final resting place, visit Mt. Zion Rock, and learn more about his life from our guide. Be prepared—this is a full-day experience, and by this point, we were definitely feeling it! Stop 5 – Dinner & Luminous Lagoon (Optional Add-On): Since we had added the Luminous Lagoon to our tour, we continued on after Nine Mile for dinner and the lagoon experience. Dinner was served family-style at Joe James Gallery. The setting by the sea was lovely, but again, I got white meat (lol) and overall, the food was just okay. The Luminous Lagoon was our final stop. The entrance area felt like a small nightclub that also sold food, but once you walk through to the dock, it becomes all about the lagoon experience. You don’t have to swim—it’s optional—but by that point, we were just too exhausted to get in, even though it looked really cool. We got back to our resort around 9:30 PM, making it a 13-hour day. Final Thoughts & Tips: This tour is packed with amazing stops and gives you a chance to experience the real Jamaica beyond the resort. I’d definitely recommend it to others—but keep in mind, it’s a long day. If you're staying at a nice resort and want some time to relax, consider skipping the lagoon add-on and doing it on a separate day. We wish we had, just so we could fully enjoy it. All in all, it was a great adventure—fun, informative, and a true highlight of our trip to Jamaica!
