Ya Man - Eve our host was absolutely amazing. Very professional, punctual, and charismatic. We got picked up from our RIU hotel, and on the ride to the ATV spot Eve shared so much knowledge and history about Jamaica and the culture. ATVing was very fun, the ride was through the country side (where Usain Bolt grew up!) Highly, highly recommend. Family run business, very genuine and welcoming people❤️.

A Must-Do ATV Experience in Rural Jamaica - TL;DR: You should absolutely book this experience. It is unique, authentic, and very well run. I recently visited Jamaica for the first time, despite being Jamaican-American. My mother is from a more rural parish, similar to Trelawny, so during my short stay, I felt it was important to get outside of the resort and city areas and experience that side of the island. That’s what led me to this ATV excursion. This experience takes you into a completely different world from the resort area. You’re in farmland, unmanicured bush, and parts of the island that feel untouched by modern life. It’s beautiful, raw, and immersive in a way that’s hard to describe. I do take reviews seriously, so I’ll mention one small downside: I expected to be picked up in a safari-style vehicle as shown in some photos and content, but it was instead a standard tour van. I was really looking forward to the open-window safari feel, and as we passed stunning greenery, I did wish we had that vantage point. That said, it’s a minor issue in the bigger picture—we were transported safely and comfortably both ways, and our driver, Mr. Brown, took great care of us. I also appreciated how engaging the drive was. The driver pointed out landmarks along the way, and the journey itself wasn’t bad at all. Once we began climbing into the mountains, the views were so beautiful that the time passed quickly. At arrival, safety was clearly a priority. We were given helmets, optional face scarves, and a short tutorial before starting. We even did practice laps, which I personally ended up needing. The staff were patient, attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable before setting off. They were also very helpful in taking photos and videos and even shared content from their own phones afterward, which I really appreciated. The ride itself was incredible. We stopped at a river (I wish I had brought a swimsuit), passed by a cow right on the trail, and even stopped at a local farm to take pictures with goats. At times it truly felt like we were riding through a secluded tropical jungle. As my first ATV experience, I can confidently say this exceeded what I would expect from a more tourist-heavy area like Montego Bay. The experience was also really displayed the impact of the recent hurricane. A couple of practical tips: wear water shoes, they are essential. Also bring your own water, as none is provided (they are very clear about this beforehand). On a personal note, I want to acknowledge Eve and Mr. Brown for something beyond the excursion. I had a personal request to bury an item that was very meaningful to me, and they went out of their way to support me. They helped scout a location, hugged me when I got emotional, and Mr. Brown thoughtfully dug the spot and planted a plant afterward. They made the experience respectful, thoughtful, and meaningful. They also gave me private time for it, which I deeply appreciated. I genuinely cannot thank them enough for their kindness and accommodation. The people who run this experience are truly good people, and you will be in excellent hands.
