A Day of Adventure Begins

As a former professional surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the ocean and the thrill of new experiences. So when I heard about the Sun Buggy Tours in Puerto Vallarta, I knew I had to check it out. The idea of exploring the lush landscapes of Jalisco in a sun buggy sounded like the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Our first stop was a roadside booth where we indulged in a traditional Mexican breakfast, complete with Coronitas. It was a delightful way to fuel up for the day ahead. Exploring Nature’s Wonders

The next leg of our journey took us to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. As someone who spends a lot of time in the water, it was refreshing to immerse myself in the vibrant greenery and diverse plant life. We wandered through the gardens, exploring the succulent and orchid houses, and even waded through the river’s cool waters. The Vanilla Plantation was a particular highlight, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich agricultural heritage.

After soaking in the natural beauty, we made our way to a tequila tasting. The atmosphere was relaxed, with no pressure to buy, allowing us to savor the flavors and learn about the distillation process. It was a perfect interlude before heading to the beach for lunch.

Sun, Sand, and Sea

Arriving at the beach, we were greeted with a feast of local flavors. Mario had taken our orders earlier, ensuring a seamless dining experience. We enjoyed a spread of fajitas, quesadillas, and guacamole, all while soaking up the sun and the sound of the waves.

The afternoon offered a choice between lounging on the beach or embarking on a boat ride. Naturally, I opted for the boat ride, eager to explore the waters around Los Arcos. The sight of manta and sting rays gliding through the water was mesmerizing, and the snorkeling experience was a refreshing way to connect with the ocean.

As the day drew to a close, we made our way back to the starting point, the sun setting on a day filled with adventure and camaraderie.
