Journey from Palmas to Lagoa do Japonês
Pedra Furada Jalapao - At 8 am, following breakfast, the group will depart from Taquaruçu and travel to Ponte Alta, the Portal do Jalapão. By 10:30 am, guests will explore a unique location, experiencing the earth element in its most stunning form at Morro da Pedra Furada.
Lagoa Do Japones - Post-lunch, the itinerary includes a visit to Lagoa do Japonês, a lagoon with crystal-clear waters in shades of emerald and blue tourmaline. The return to Ponte Alta is scheduled for late afternoon, with dinner at 8 pm.
Journey from Portal do Jalapão to Coração do Jalapão
Canion Sussuapara - At 8 am, after breakfast, the group will leave Ponte Alta and traverse the Portal do Jalapão to reach Coração do Jalapão, covering 190 km of dirt road. Along the way, a visit to the Sussuapara Canyon, a sanctuary where it always seems to rain, is planned.
Praias do Rio Novo - Around noon, the group will arrive at the Rio Novo Quilombola Community. Here, guests will enjoy the Paçoca de Carne Seca experience. After a brief rest, a beautiful little beach with potable water will be discovered.
Dunas do Jalapao - The day will conclude in the surreal setting of the incredible Dunas do Jalapão, with hopes of witnessing a stunning sunset. The group will then proceed to the inn in Mateiros, with dinner at 8 pm.

Fervedouro do Buriti - A uniquely beautiful boiler, belonging to Lino’s family, all native to the region.
Waterfall and Boilers + Coffee with Rapadura Experience
Serra do Espirito Santo - For outdoor enthusiasts, the day begins at 4 am. An early start promises a spectacular dawn as the group heads to Serra do Espírito Santo. With clear skies, the most breathtaking view of Brazil’s starry sky will be visible. The ascent is short, about 750m, but challenging, rated medium to difficult. If all goes well, a beautiful sunrise will be witnessed atop the Serra. By 8:00 am, breakfast will be served at the inn.
Formiga Waterfall - Unexpectedly, guests will find themselves relaxing in the waters of Jalapão’s most beautiful waterfall, Cachoeira do Formiga, making every moment worthwhile.
Returning to Palmas
