Hospitality of the Best Tour Guide of Indonesia - I really enjoyed the companion of the tour guide. On the way to Borobudur, he brought me to a coffee shop where I bought the rare coffee beans of Luwak, the next door was a shop for Batik where I bought a shirt. You must bargain the price. Borobudur was magnificent, I spent 3 hours there. The Borobudur guide was excellent, explained the history of Borobudur and the reliefs on the walls. She was full of sense of humor, we appreciated it very much. After the Borobudur, I and the tour guide went to a local restaurant, enjoyed the local lunch with a bottle of beer (!). On the way back to Yogyakarta, he bought a bag of snake fruit and we eat them together. It was delicious, although when I tried to give a few of them afterwards to my friends at the Gadjah Mada Conference, they declined to eat them because of the fruit skin, which resembles to snake skin. I really recommend this tour to any one who want a real Borobudur experience as well as the true Indonesian hospitality.
