The best way to see Jaisalmer- fun, engaging and informative! - Lalit made the experience at Jaisalmer truly memorable for my parents and me. He effortlessly modified his interaction based on what he understood our needs to be. Lalit was flexible, polite and engaging …he had friends throughout the town who he was able to call on for a special experience or a different perspective. He was open to adding an impromptu visit to Kuldhara and made the trip to Sam truly memorable He filled us with the most wonderful stories about Jaisalmer and its history, ensured that we knew enough to appreciate the architecture of the town and kept us well fed and comfortable for the entire tour! Lalit is excellent at what he does and his passion and love of people shines through!

Great walking tour, highly recommend it. - A fabulous walking tour, Lalu was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable. Although very hot he had built in stops which made it much easier to cope with. He was full of information not only about the tour, but places to eat etc.First place we went to with no hard sell.

Fantastic walking tour around the stunning city of Jaisalmer - The walking tour around the most amazing city of Jaisalmer was truly an unforgettable experience. Lalit sat us down before the walk and outlined the history of the city and region. Although it was hot the walk was done in stages allowing time to rest. The architecture and history of Jaisalmer coupled with the more relaxed atmosphere) compared to say Agra or Jaipur) of the place makes it a must see destination. You won’t regret the effort to get there. Lalit was much more than a tour guide - he made restaurant bookings for us and arranged transport for trip out into the desert etc. We couldn’t recommend Lalit highly enough.

Professional, honest, and exceptional service - We used Lalu as our private guide in Jaisalmer. Lalu was very knowledgeable, flexible, and offered valuable insights and assistance during our tour with him. We thoroughly enjoyed our two half day tours with him. Unique experience in Jaisalmer - Lalu ticks all the boxes for a good guide: knowledgable, professional, courteous, and fluent. What makes him a great is that his family has lived in Jasailmer for many generations, he seems to know everyone, and everyone seems to know and respect him. He makes his culture come alive. I found him, in our short time together, to be a man of integrity, deserving of the respect he has earned in his town. If you are with him in the morning, ask him to take you to Fattah’s for tamarind kachori and pakoda. You won’t be disapppointed.

Mr. Jaisalmer - We spent 3 days in Jaisalmer this February with Lalu. I had read a few reviews on Lalu and other tour operators during the planning stages. I have to admit that all the reviews on Lalu are spot on. He is incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful going over and beyond his role. He is Mr Jaisalmer. The whole town knows him. He has incredible connections throughout the town and can facilitate any request from a tourist. We learnt a lot about the history and culture of Jaisalmer and he helped connect the dots regarding the Silk Road. He is fluent in English and he is locally known as Lalu German. In addition he is very generous and reliable. If one is looking to visit Jaisalmer, one does not have to do much research. Hand yourselves to Lalu and you can trust him to take you on a very enriching experience. When we arrived in Jaisalmer we met Lalu the guide but now we have a dear friend who we would highly recommend
