Worth the money! - What a great experience! Went on this trip with my family in March. Despite what people are calling it on here as an “average” experience, it deserves 5 stars The whole crew was efficient with everything, from start to finish. You can tell that they are still building their business but for the price they offer, you get a great crew, a solid boat and captain, and a great experience on a beautiful island.

Tortuga Island - Our Tour Guide, Memo, was Excellent. Knowledgable and most helpful. We saw porpoises and snorkelling was safe and a joy to participate in. The beach, food, pick/up & drop off was timely and fun to share with others on the bus. I highly recommend this Tour!

We visited the island, saw dolphins and monkeys on the way, had delicious smoothies, sunbathed, ocean fun, ate lunch! - This was a super fun and well organized trip! "Charlie" and the crew were amazingly kind, funny and helpful! They communicated every step of the trip and kept to the schedule! I would definitely do it again!

Excellent! - They kept on time with every time they stated. Which is great. The driver moved us as fast as he could given the traffic. The breakfast was good. And the island itself is beautiful. I recommend kayaking and taking the nature trail. But if you’re going to hang on the beach I definitely recommend chairs in an umbrella. Especially on a really sunny day.Luis was our guide. He was extremely helpful, communicative about times and where to be, and just an all-around nice guy. We really enjoyed that day

Tortuga island = relax time - The tour itself was good, well Organized and we had a great group and the staff was always helpful and friendly. The downside was little things that should have been explained from the beginning like prior to the pick up - the cost of chair rentals, and the cost for the bathroom use. The experience itself was very relaxing.

Side - Experience quite disappointing and clearly overrated. The water was not very clean and the stop for snorkeling is in one place where all the boats gather, so there are a lot of people in one place. In addition, the crew feeds the fish so they can be seen, making the experience quite artificial. We also stopped for breakfast for 45 minutes, which we felt was way too long.Lunch was included: it was good, but the portions were rather small. We saw a few dolphins, as well as monkeys and crocodiles. On the island, no possibility of visit, only the beach is accessible, the interior of the island is barricaded.

If you are up for a Club Med day trip this is it. - We took the catamaran to Tortuga Island in late January. Perfect time to go. The weather was great and the beach and the island are beautiful. The snorkeling is a must do. And full marks to the staff. However it turned into a full on Club Med booze cruise. Unlimited drinks will do that. The trip back to Jaco was unruly and uncomfortable. Maybe just not our idea of a good time. If that's what you like then its probably worthwhile. But if we were to do it again we might try another provider.

Not what we expected - It was a very long drive to the boat The boat was more of a water taxi than an excursion boat The island was small with little to do other than spend ALOT of extra money after an already expensive trip fee It was “okay”
