Don't miss the mural art tour in Jaco! - We loved the mural art tour with Joshue. He was engaging and knowledgeable and the street art was beautiful. Highly recommended!

Beyond the Beach: Jacó’s Hidden Art Scene - Highly recommend the Guided Walking Street Art & Graffiti Tour in Jacó with Josue!
We met at the Bird of Paradise Hotel and started with a great history overview before visiting 18+ murals around town. Josue knew the artists and shared fascinating stories behind the work. Many pieces were commissioned by Artify Jacó and beautifully reflect local culture and history.
He’s knowledgeable, witty, and fun to walk around with — even in the humidity! We also stopped in local artisan shops, and the tour included a refreshing fresh juice drink, which was a wonderful bonus.
This tour gave me a whole new appreciation for Jacó. Don’t miss it!

Beyond the Beach: Jacó’s Hidden Art Scene - I had a fantastic experience on the Guided Walking Street Art & Graffiti Tour in Jacó with Josue. We met at the Bird of Paradise Hotel, where there’s already a beautiful mural to admire, but before we even started walking, Josue gave an engaging history lesson about Costa Rica and Jacó that really set the stage.
We explored more than 18 murals and graffiti sites throughout town. Josue knew the artists’ names and shared meaningful background about their work. Many of the murals were commissioned by Artify Jacó, an organization that supports public art reflecting local life, culture, wildlife, and history. It added so much depth to what we were seeing.
Josue is well educated, witty, and a lot of fun to spend time with — even in the humidity. He also took me into local artisan shops to see more Costa Rican artwork, and the tour even included a fresh juice drink at one of the shops, which was such a nice touch.
If you’re visiting Jacó, this tour is a must — and Josue is the guide you want.

Excellent Street Art & Graffiti Walking Tour in Jaco, Costa Rica - Excellent street art and graffiti tour in Jaco. Loved it! I highly recommend this tour. Great value for money. Guide Josué was knowledgable, friendly, professional and an excellent teacher. He spoke about the art and artists, plus knew the history of the town of Jaco. I enjoyed the 8 am start because it was not as hot for walking as it would be, later in day. We ended with a chat over a cold drink. Overall an excellent experience. A must-do tour for visitors to Jaco.

Excellent Art & Graffiti Walking Tour in Jaco, Costa Rica - Loved the street art & graffiti walking tour guided by Josué. It exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for price. The murals and street art found through out Jaco are wonderful. Josué shared his knowledge of the artists and their works. He also talked about the history and culture of Jaco. It was so interesting and informative. We ended the tour in a cafe with a cold drink. Josué is friendly, professional and a natural teacher. I went on the 8 am tour. The weather & temperatures were comfortable for me, at that time of day, for walking around Jaco. I highly recommend this guided walking tour for anyone who wants to learn more about Jaco and its art. Remember to bring water, a hat, comfortable shoes, and put on sunscreen. I took lots of photos. This is a highlight of my time in Jaco. Loved it.

Awesome tour and host! A must! - Josuè was an excellent, interesting and informative tour guide. If you love art or just want to know more about the history or Jaco, I highly recommend this tour. I loved learning about the meaning behind the murals and the story of Jaco and how it came to be. Definitely do this one!

Fun walking tour with Josue! - This tour was very interesting! It gave a better appreciation of all the beautification around the downtown area. I'm noticing so much more of the art and graffiti than I did before. Learning about the history and culture of Jaco was really cool too. Josue did a great job and really knew his facts.
