- Jaco - The Tour de la Paz begins in the mountains directly behind Jacó, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain to a beautiful 35ft. waterfall (Cascada del Zorro) – a perfect spot to get a little wet and take some photos.
Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio Park, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.
- Catarata Bijagual - Continuing along the mountain tops and through the rainforest, you arrive at the second, incredible waterfall of your tour with us - the exciting Pura Vida waterfall.
Surrounded by lush rainforest and crested by a natural rock platform, thrill-seeking adventurers may jump over 15 feet down into the crisp, refreshing waterfall pool below. The sounds of rushing water, coupled with the call of exotic birds combine to make this visit to the Pura Vida Falls a truly Costa Rican experience that you will remember for years to come.
To end the tour, we ride the loop that takes us right to the edge of the famous Carara National Park, and then begin our decent back to Adventure Tours in Jaco.

- All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
- Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
- Children under 4 years old can’t ride
- Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
- ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
- Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
- Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
- The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

Enjoyable - What an enjoyable adventure! The guides were incredibly supportive and safety-conscious, even pausing halfway for a restroom break and allowing time for a refreshing swim at the waterfall, despite jumping in fully clothed. Their pick-up service from the Jaco hotel made accessing the ATVs convenient, and the availability of restroom facilities and an outdoor shower was a thoughtful touch.

Great adventure - This is an adventure made for everyone! Christopher was an amazing guide. He looked out for us and provided an excellent tour! The company was safe, clean and friendly. I would recommend this excursion! I would say that we went during the dry season, so be ready to get dirty!

Great ATV adventure in Jaco - My husband and I had a great ATV tour in Jaco with our guide Christian. We drove up the mountain, stopping for a few pictures, before arriving at the natural swimming pool and waterfall. The roads were very dusty so we got quite dirty but that is all part of the fun. We came back down the same way going through some small water ways, adding to the fun.

Great way to see the mountains and rainforest - We had a great time! The guides were fun and helpful. The views were great, but the highlight was definitely jumping into the waterfall. Although I do recommend water shoes for that. You will get dirty, but that was part of the fun.

Jaco ATV & Waterfall - Awesome time! JP was terrific! We were picked up at our hotel in a 4 wheel drive off road vehicle. Be prepared to get dirty in the best way!

Great tour- bring old clothes and shoes! - So much fun- but you will get SO dirty! Bring clothes and shoes you don’t mind ruining! I recommend water shoes and a gator to cover your face! Our guide was excellent. Very hot, but the swimming spot was perfect! Don’t forget sunscreen on your hands!

3 hour atv jungle waterfall - Super fun tour. The sites were incredible and the swim pool was so fun for the kids.
The guides were amazing and very helpful. Rated as 4 stars instead of 5 because no goggles were provided and no windshield was on our side by side so we had substantial dust in our eyes and face at the end. But so fun, would definitely do again.
