Family Fun on the Snake - We did the 4PM drop in at Snake River Ranch. We had a private boat with 12 family members ranging from 5 yr to 70 yr. Mark was our guide and he did an amazing job! Spotted multiple bald eagles, many other birds and various wildlife while also telling us history and other information about the area. Loved every bit of this float, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get out on the river not looking to get wet or too high of a heart rate.

Highest recommendation possible! - I could not recommend the team behind Jackson Hole Whitewater more highly. They are incredible to work with - the best in Jackson. Exceptional in every way: customer service, responsiveness, safety, ongoing support, great staff. We will be using them for all activities moving forward.

Sisters Wild West Freedom Tour - Our experience with the entire team was excellent. Each member went above snd beyond to ensure our River float sas memorable. The drive to and from the river was exceptional thanks to Tyler. He stopped for us to get out of the van to take photos of a Moose mom and calf. I’ve been on more than a dozen river transfer buses and never had a driver care enough for his guest. R.J. Thank you for the greatest River float. The best guide ever. Always on the lookout to point out the wildlife we were fortunate to see on our adventure. Only downside…. the trip was too short. We did the 7 mile and wish we had chosen a longer adventure. Every staff member was welcoming and seemed to enjoy people and their job. Thank you for adding a positive experience to our dream of a lifetime vacation.

Experience means everything - What an awesome experience. It is very apparent this company has experience as everything was organized, on time, and went without a hitch. I walked to the business and, a couple minutes before the scheduled time, I was directed to a bus. I and other passengers were driven to the Snake River, outfitted with a PFD, and we boarded a raft. Tom, our driver, was polite and friendly. The passengers were separated into 2 groups and each group met their guide. Our guide, Taylor, handled a 3500 pound raft effortlessly and pointed out wildlife. After about an hour we coasted to shore and we're helped out of the raft. We got back in the bus Tom had driven to the take out spot and, the next thing I knew, the rafts had been loaded onto a trailer and we were on our way back to town. Experience means everything and it was evident from the moment I checked in, these guys knew what they were doing.

Last float best float - We had THE BEST time! We knew going in to the experience that the high season was well past and that this would be a slow, chill float down the Snake, which was perfect for us since one of my sisters is a big scaredy cat. We also knew that the weather this time of year was unpredictable so we were 100% willing to endure rain, snow, or sunshine to be able to do it, but we were pleasantly surprised that they had ponchos available to us during the small shower that passed over. It made the whole trip hilarious and we have a great photo of me looking like a titanic survivor wrapped in a blanket 😂 Even though they had enough people to fill up the 12 person raft, they didnt squeeze us all on one, which we super appreciated. They paired us in smaller groups and kept the same amount of tour guides available so we got a much more intimate experience. Our tour guide, I'll call her "C", (I was so entranced by the views that I cant remember her real name. please forgive me 🫣), truly was incredible. Great conversationalist, wonderful at keeping us on track, great sense of humor, gave us the lore and tea of Jackson, just an all around great time. You could tell that she didnt just clock in for a job, she loved what she did and we all felt it. Don't listen to the negative reviews if you see any. Especially about Simon. He's sensitive and that lady probably didn't even ask him how he was doing. 10/10 book this place!!

An okay experience. - A little disappointed in this one. We were told there is little to no parking at the pickup location, so we took an expensive Uber from our hotel to the rafting office, and back again. Turns out there were parking spaces there, as well as across the road at various retail locations. The bus taking us to the raft made an extra stop to pick up another family, and that spot was actually closer to our hotel and had tons of parking--wish someone would have told us that was an option. Our guide was very good. I think we spent more time waiting for and getting to the raft than we did on the water--next time we'll pick a longer trip, as 7 miles is over in a little over an hour.

Not worth the money. - We were told as we're others that it was a 3 to 4 hour float trip. We were on the water about 1 hour. Other travelers on the bus said same. They were told 3 to 4 hours. The bus driver said it included the bus ride. Which was less that 20 minutes each way. The guide laughed and said yea, they also tell everyone you will see a lot of moose. If it wasn't nonrefundable we would have gotten off the bus when we found out. Buyer beware.

Snake River and Jackson Hole have lost its charm. Overrun with tourists. - Too crowded. Too many people on the water and in the boat Hoards of people everywhere in Jackson Hole. Jackson hole used to be a great place to visit. Now it’s SO expensive and accommodations are hard to find. So few camping areas with room to stay. We’re going somewhere else next year where people are friendlier and there aren’t so many billionaires. Avoid Jackson Hole.
