Hi light of our whole trip to Jackson Hole! - The half day private sunrise wildlife tour we did with our family (adult kids ages 19-21) was a hi light and favorite of ALL our kids of our whole trip to Jackson Hole! Alec our guide was AMAZING! A perfect fit for our family and what we were hoping for on our excursion! He was patient, so knowledgeable about everything on the tour AND so helpful with tips, food recommendations and insight on other areas we were looking to visit in the area! Even gave us tips and location pin to a free hidden hot spring! We did this tour on our first day visiting the area and things we learned from Alec (even about the wildlife) were helpful all the rest of our trip! Then the major hi light is that he was in on the surprise of our son proposing! We had an idea in advance of where the location would be but it must not have felt like the perfect moment for our son. Alec quickly regrouped and suggested a different location over a place that I had in my mind and it was PERFECT!!! Meant to be! Thank you so much Alec for making it so fun and memorable and extra bonus that he was a fellow midwesterner! ;0). I also would like to shout out to Jonathan the owner! I had called prior and talked to him and he was so helpful and friendly too! And set up the perfect guide to be with our family. Thank you Grizzly Country Wildlife Adventures for the amazing memories!! This tour is a MUST do when you visit Jackson Hole!
PS The van was so comfy with the addition of great quality binoculars for each person to use! Then Alec with his scope to set up for us to see things we wouldn't have ever seen ourselves! And those amazing yummy granola bars they had packed with for us with the extra thoughtfulness of being healthy and gluten free was an extra plus for those of us with dietary needs! Thank you! What a treat!

- Great tour - Michelle is what you want in a guide - very informative and interesting to listen to. Saw moose, pronghorn and bison but missed out on any bears - luck of the draw. We also had a beautiful day and the scenery was spectacular.

Michelle is our hero! - I chose this tour as a part of my Bachelorette trip and it was a LIFE-CHANGING experience! If you can, choose MICHELLE as your tour guide. She was incredible. To start off the trip, she took us to a mama and baby moose. Further, the passion she exuded was contagious as we were following grizzly bears through the Grand Teton NP. She was so knowledgeable and took us to the BEST SPOTS for pictures and videos. I cannot recommend this company and her enough!! This is a MUST DO in Jackson Hole!

Amazing Sunrise Wildlife Safari - We started our winter vacation with a private Sunrise Wildlife Safari in Jackson Hole, WY. Steve picked us up at our hotel, right on time, and had delicious muffins waiting for us. We spent the morning looking out for moose, bison, and elk and touring the area. Steve drove us through the scenic roads of Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton National Park. Deep in the park the roads were closed due the weather and about 2 feet of snow. We did stop in the park to make snow angels and enjoy the deep snow. We were lucky to find several moose, elk, deer, Big Horn Rams, and a playful otter. Steve was an abundance of information. We were introduced to the history of the area as well as little tourist tad bits to enhance our stay. The tour was enlightening, even our young grandchildren enjoyed every second of it. It was snowing in the upper elevations; it appeared as though we were in a snow globe. It was beautiful. If you love nature and appreciate the history of such iconic places this tour is highly recommended.

AMAZING WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE - As a last-minute decision, our family decided to book this wildlife tour. We could not be happier that we took this opportunity. We were able to see multiple groups of wildlife including a total of 9 moose. It was an amazing experience and worth every penny. Our guide for the tour was Jeremy from Idaho and we could not be more impressed and grateful for his hospitality and knowledge of the area. He was able to make the experience that much more incredible. 10/10 would recommend. You won't regret it 😃

The Highlight of our Vacation - This was our fourth time using GCWA. We have toured Yellowstone and The Tetons and both have been the highlights of our vacations. This time we decided to do the sunrise tour in The Tetons and it was spectacular. We saw moose and baby, bear and cubs, pronghorns, a beautiful huge bull and listened to the unique sound of bugling male elks. The changing of the leaves was also breathtaking. The tour is interesting and very informative. The guides know the area so well and the shortcuts to get there. If you tour with them at the beginning of your trip, you can then return to the parks with that knowledge and find the animals yourself. Jonathan, thank you so much for making our tours the absolute best. If you hear anything about the mountain lion behind The Rustic Inn, please let me know.

Cold, disappointed, but not their fault many animals weren’t out on a super cold day. - Our shuttle arrived right on time - getting picked up is awesome. :-) Guide was incredibly smart and educational and tried hard to engage us. However, we just didn’t see much - drove around for over four hours and saw a few moose, sheep, and of course the elk that you can see on the drive into town from the airport. And that was with binoculars or a scope - 1/2 mile away…. Nothing up close at all.
Maybe it’s the time of year.
No snacks or water offered as we were told. I guess I just expected more for $150 pp. i can drive to Caprock Canyon or Wichita Mountains a few hours from home and see bison roam freely and prairie dogs which was more rewarding than this. ..just feel like we spent a lot of money and time and didn’t get much out of it other than some nice conversation…
