Pergamon - Thyatira

Pergamon Ancient City - Departing from Izmir, visit another site associated with St. John. From early morning, travel through Pergamon, where the Asclepius site will be explored.

Akhisar - Continue the journey through Thyatira (Akhisar), a town located in the Manisa province.

Sardis - Philadelphia - Pamukkale - Laodicea - Hierapolis

Sardis (Sardes) - The next destination is Sardes, the former capital of the Kingdom of Lydia, home to the oldest synagogue in the Aegean region.

The Ancient City of Laodicea - Following Hierapolis, visit Laodicea, known for its historical Jewish community.

Hierapolis & Pamukkale - Optionally, explore Hierapolis, a city that flourished during the Roman era, featuring travertines and Cleopatra’s pool.

Ephesus and Surroundings

Ancient City of Ephesus - Depart through the Ephesus Region, where Saint Paul delivered his speech to the Ephesians. Visit the largest theater in Asia Minor.

Selcuk - Optionally, visit the tomb of Saint John.

Virgin Mary’s House - Optionally, explore the house where Virgin Mary resided for a time.

The tour offers a visit to the Seven Churches of Revelation, located on the western side of Turkey, inspired by St. Paul’s journey and the prophetic visions of St. John the Apostle. The itinerary includes visits to the sites of the seven churches as revealed in visions: Smyrna, Thyatira, Pergamon, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Ephesus, in that order. The tour highlights the spiritual ambiance, enriched by ancient Greco-Roman and Christian architecture. Notable sites include Pergamon’s Asklepion and Red Basilica, Sardis Gymnasium & Synagogue, and Ephesus’ renowned Celsus Library and its grand theater.
