It was a thoughtfully planned tour - What made my time in Izamal even more special, was this walking tour, with the highlight being Parque Itzamna, where I strolled through the historic centre. I also tried street food consisting of fresh tamales and I liked it. It was a thoughtfully planned tour.

This is a nice way to see the best attractions of Izamal - This is a nice way to see the best attractions of Izamal. Personally, I really like seeing smaller-sized local Mexican towns and the tour guide met my expectations. Overall, I enjoyed this walking tour and took a lot of memorable photos.

Don't recommend Opatrip.com - We enjoyed the tour but the tour operator Opatrip.com is located outside of Mexico and didn't have a good handle of what's happening on the ground. They didn't provide a clear meeting point and then gave us the phone number of the wrong guide who never picked up or responded to Whatsapp. Just before the tour was supposed to start, we got a message from our actual guide. The entire process had unnecessary stress because the tour operator was out of touch.
