Participants will have the opportunity to admire breathtaking artwork and statues, including the Pio-Clementine Museums with numerous sculptures, the Gallery of Maps of Italy painted in the 16th century, and the Raphael Rooms, which feature renowned frescoes by Raphael himself, including “The School of Athens.”
- Sistine Chapel - Not to be missed is the Sistine Chapel ceiling and Michelangelo’s “Last Judgment.” It is one of the most famous chapels, and the ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, remains in its full glory today, showcasing the iconic fresco “Creation of Adam.”
- St. Peter’s Basilica - After visiting the Sistine Chapel, the guided tour concludes. If possible and permitted by the guards, the tour guide will lead visitors through the guide exit into the Basilica. This exit is not accessible to the general public.
