Siena: Montepulciano - We were with Valenka and Alberto, excellent everything and they very friendly and very good explanations

Wine, history and beautiful landscapes!! - If you like wine, history, and beautiful landscapes, this is a tour for you. We visited Montepulciano, Pinza and stop in two wineries for wine tasting. The route through Tuscany was amazing. Great experience. Highly recommended. Our guide Luca was great!

Beautiful!! - Loved this trip so much! It was beyond beautiful! Tuscany is breathtaking and the wines were very good! Definitely recommend! The driver was very kind as well.

Excellent excursion to... - Excellent excursion to Tuscany for wine tasting and exploring beautiful castle villages of Montepulciano and Pienza. Stunning Tuscan countryside. The Talosa vineyard was especially fantastic. The most excellent cheese and wine!! Our tour guides, Fabritzi, was great as well! I highly recommend this tour.

Gorgeous Must Do - The trip was fantastic! Our guide Marta was entertaining and knowledgeable as we toured parts of Tuscany. The scenery was gorgeous and the wine was delicious. Giovanni our tour driver was great and we felt safe on the twisty roads.

val d'orcia - this turned out to be with a small group via van. Daniel, our driver guide dropped us off very close to the center of the town which made the quality of the experience the best

A good choice if you’ve done everything else - Small group in this case meant about 25 people in a mini-bus (not a van). Not mentioned was the extra TWO HOURS spent from Florence to go pickup and drop off more guests from Siena. Our guide was friendly. The stop in montepulciano included free time to walk around near the drop off point (not a ton to see or do) and then a very nice lunch and samples of 2 wines. The stop in Pienza was lovely and we had about an hour to walk around and enough the Tuscany views and do some local shopping for pecorino. The final stop in Montalcino isn’t really in Montalcino it’s a winery that grows in Montalcino- a small snack and 3 wine samples. All in all it’s a good tour if you have many days in Florence and have already been to Chianti trail, but I wouldn’t suggest it if you only have a short time in Florence. ( hey if you’re staying in Siena your day stuck on a bus is 2hrs shorter!)

Beautiful Place, misleading description - The Trip description is misleading. Firstly, we were not informed that many passengers would be picked up on the way from Pisa, and then they would be dropped first before leaving the Florence passengers. The pick up point of this tour at Florence is very far. Also, the pictures in viator are misleading. While it was said that the tour would be through winery at Montalcino, and with picture of Mario at his wineyard, we were instead taken to wine storage cellar at Montalpulciano. The tour guide herself stated that these pictures are old and not what they do.

Very untrustworthy. Don’t use. - Very untrustworthy Not professional We paid for a wine tour with food and to visit two towns. We headed to one winery, then after words between the driver Ricardo and Leyla the driver turned around in someone’s yard and headed to another winery. No explanation to the 20 guests on the bus. We visited one winery went to Montepulciano around 12:30 where all other tour guests were told to have lunch while in the town as they didn’t pay for the included lunch. My husband and I who had paid €60 euro to have lunch were told to wait until the next town which we were told would be around 3:30pm to have lunch. We expressed our unhappiness with this and after a bit of mess around were advised in an email that My Italy Tours (the tour operator) would refund the money back to our card. We proceeded with the tour and went to the next town. When we were picked up from this town we were told we were now heading home. I asked about the second winery and Leyla told the group that this is what she was told to do and we would have to speak to the tour operator. Other guests were also unhappy we were not visiting the se on winery. I emailed them on the way home and have never had a response to this. They did however pull down this tour from their website while I was following up the next day with a phone call. No resolution to date. Also after 15 days I still do not have my refund for the 60 euro lunch. I will continue to chase them. Don’t trust My Italy Tours.
