• Sorrento Coast - Departing from Rome, the journey will take you through the picturesque southern countryside for a couple of hours. The first brief stop will be along the toll road for a delightful coffee and croissant break. The trip continues until the Bay of Naples and the iconic Volcano Vesuvius come into view. As the route winds along the coastal road to Sorrento, there will be another chance to pause and capture breathtaking photos of the Bay of Naples and the charming town of Sorrento.
• Positano - After enjoying a coffee and cappuccino break, along with capturing some photos of Sorrento and its bay, the drive will continue for another 45 minutes to reach Positano. Here, a picture-perfect scene unfolds—a mosaic of flat and domed roofs, with vine-covered stairways cascading down to the gentle curve of the beach.

You will have free time to explore this sophisticated summer resort, which is brimming with designer boutiques, shops, and seaside cafés. You can also visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, renowned for its majolica-tiled dome and housing a 13th-century Byzantine icon of a Black Madonna. For lunch, there are various restaurants on the beach to choose from, or you can opt for a light and delicious meal at one of the coffee shops.

• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Explore one of the world’s most stunning archaeological sites either independently or with a licensed tour guide for an additional fee of €130. The city of Pompeii was devastated and buried by Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in 79 A.D. This catastrophic event covered Pompeii in 4 to 6 meters (13 to 20 feet) of ash and pumice, leaving it lost for nearly 1,700 years until its accidental rediscovery in 1749. Since then, excavations have offered an incredibly detailed glimpse into life during the peak of the Roman Empire. As you walk through the excavated site, you’ll encounter perfectly preserved baths, theaters, temples, markets, and forums, allowing you to step back into the lives of ancient Romans.
